It was on October 27 and 28, the last weekend of October that I spent the happiest time which I will never forget during the passing months in 2017. Although I suffered a lot on the way to Xi'an NO. 89 Middle School by taking the subway, I cared nothing about it but enjoyed myself along the way. It's a great pleasure to go with Ms. Liu, the host of Liu Juan's Workshop, and we met many other fellows at present as well. It is a very good opportunity for us to exchange our ideas. I not only learned some modern teaching ideas, but also enjoyed some wonderful public classes during the two days' observation, which made me even too excited to sleep at night. Just as Ms. Liu said, "The two days' study in the outside world was better than that of years of hard work behind closed door."

The activity was divided into three parts. The first part was the public class and the interpretation. The other two were the mini-lecture and the remark on the class. What impressed me most was the grammar lesson, the Superlative Degree of adjectives, given by Zhang Dengfeng from the Attached School of Xi'an Northwestern Polytechnical University. The humorous language made the lesson interesting and easy to understand. The lesson titled The English Writing Skills Come from Changes, given by Yi Renrong who is always energetic in the field of English academic, was also unforgettable. Besides, Mr.Yi's mini-lecture titled Changing the Style of English Teaching, Cultivating the Ability of English Studying was excellent. Mr. Yi's "Three Languages", which are named simple language, body language and supporting language, made me understand how to make English classroom modern.

On the afternoon of 28th, the teacher named Qian Yong from Shanghai firstly gave a writing lesson called Our Invention and then she gave a mini lecture called Based on Textbook, the Effective Ways about English Writing. She used the spidergram to express her ideas, which undoubtedly was the most special point. Both her lesson and the lecture were instructive, interesting, useful and academical. How excellent she is! We were so excited while enjoying her lesson that we could hardly find any suitable words to express our feelings.

Shen Yanmin from Shanxi Province gave a reading lesson titled Who's Got Talent. The wonderful teaching design and the clear mind-map gave me much impression. Wang Cheng from Gansu Province gave a lesson titled Where is my school. His lesson was very plain and natural.

Here are some photos of Ms. Qian's lecture. She mainy said something about the Scaffolding Instruction and the Process Genre Approach. I do hope you can get some inspiration and capture the wisdom of her.

On the next day morning, the brightest point focused on the lesson When is your birthday given by Song Chunyan who is from Zhongshan, Guangdong Province. I plan to give a similar lesson in two weeks and her lesson gave me much inspiration. Though it was a lesson from Grade 7, the capacity of this lesson was so full that students' abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing were all improved. The lead-in was too attractive to forget. The VCR from Karina made the class vivid. The lesson was not only modern but also fully contained the skill of using task-based teaching approach.

HongLin comes from Xi'an. She gave a lesson titled It must belong to Carla. Her special lead-in and fluent English were also good.

Here are some photos of Ms. Song's lecture. The lecture Analysis about the Design in Task-based Teaching Approach made me distinguish activities and tasks.

In the afternoon, ZhangNing, from Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, gave another wonderful lesson. She designed a big task for the lesson and then divided it into some small tasks to finish. The lead-in was also very unique. And her fully use of the materials of the textbook opened another way to the effective teaching, which is easy to forget in our daily teaching. Her lecture the Cultivating about Quality of Thinking Based on Core Competence made me get a better understanding of her lesson. "Listening is the ability to accurately receive and interpret message in the communication process." We should really pay attention to students' ability of listening.

Wang Cuiling, from Gansu Province, gave a lesson titled An old man tried to move the mountain. The whiteboard design was also very impressive.

Here are some pictures of Ms. Zhang's lecture. She made a task chain about three steps of teaching English, which are about before-listening, while-listening and post-listening. If we can't make the listening teaching successfully, we never get the satisfactory oral work from our students.

Finally, we can't ignore the excellent remarks from Yi Renrong, WangLanying, Zhang Xiaoling and Feng Baozhen. These remarks made me realize the disadvantages in my teaching. They guided the way to a better teaching design for me.

I can sense the wisdom of these masters. And I know the way to success is really difficult. Luckily, I can see farther by

standing on the shoulder of these masters. I know there is a long way for me to go, but patience, persistence, perspiration make the unbeatable combination of success.
