May. 26th, 2017 was a big day for No.8 Middle School of Yiliang. At 7:30pm, the 1st session of "The Voice of No.8 Middle School" English singing competition was held on the sports field.

All of the students sat on the grass to enjoy the songs.

A group from Class 48 volunteered to make the final appearance.

A group of students in Class 50 sang the classical song "AULD LANG SYNE ".

Class 55 had a wonderful graduate speech and they sang beautifully as the ending.

Finally, the headmaster praised the competition. He said it was a successful competition. He would try his best to make our school better. He also encouraged students to work harder to make a big progress in the future.

In this competition, 35 singers and groups took part in. 16 of them were awarded. Besides, more than 100 students were awarded because of their excellent grades in the English vocabulary competition.

With the efforts of all the English teachers, we took the first cake. Without the groupwork, there wouldn't be the competition. Because of the help of the headmaster and other teachers. We made a big success. In the future, we will work harder.
