粉红奇观--火烈鸟

　　多年以前，看着赵忠祥解说的《动物世界》我就在想，世界上真有这样的地方吗？有朝一日，如果我也能站在这片广阔的狂野上目睹那些动物们悠闲自得的生活，亲身看一看它们生活的环境，那将是非常美好的事情。

当我们八个人踏上东非这片神秘土地的时候，这种想法终于变成了现实。

When eight of us were on the mysterious land of East Africa, the idea became reality.

　　世界著名的纳库鲁湖是为保护禽类鸟建立的公园， 海拔1753～2073米，占地面积188平方公里，有约200多万只火烈鸟，占世界火烈鸟总数的三分之一，被誉为“观鸟天堂”。

纳库鲁湖处于火山带，湖水盐碱度较高，适宜作为火烈鸟主食的浮游生物生长。

Nakuru lake which world famous was established to protect poultry birds park, 1753 ~ 2073 meters above sea level, covering an area of 188 square kilometers, about more than 200 ten thousands flamingos, a third of the total number of flamingos in the world, is known as "bird paradise".

The lake is located in the volcanic zone, which is high in salinity, and is suitable for the growth of phytoplankton which was foods of flamingos .

　　以前，我看过火烈鸟的照片，单个的，成群结队的，但我万万没有想到竟然有上百万只在一起，那场景真叫震撼！

In the past, I had seen pictures of flamingos, single, in groups, but I didn't think that there were millions of them together, and that was a real shock!

　　优美的身段，细长的脖颈，白里透红外衣，优雅的舞步，令人惊叹。

The figure length of the body, the slender neck, the white and the red coat, the graceful dance moves, is breathtaking.

　　火烈鸟吃什么呢？这么多火烈鸟，湖里的食物够他们吃吗？我有这样的疑问。

我们看到，火烈鸟以小虾、蛤蜊、昆虫、藻类等为食。而且每天都在不停地吃各种食物。觅食时头往下浸，嘴倒转，将食物吮入口中，把多余的水和不能吃的渣滓排出，然后徐徐吞下。

查阅资料后我们知道，纳库鲁湖很大，食物很多，不存在火烈鸟食物短缺问题。

What does the flamingo eat? So many flamingos, the food in the lake is enough for them to eat? I have the question.

We had see flamingos feed on shrimp, clams, insects, and algae. And they keep eating all kinds of food every day. When foraging, the head goes down, the mouth is inverted, and the food is sucked into the entrance, and leaves the excess water and the dross that cannot be eaten, and then foods was swallowed.

We know that after the data, there's a lot of food, and there's no shortage of flamingos.

裂谷区的火烈鸟实际上有大、小两种。大火烈鸟身高可达150厘米，羽衣总体看是淡粉色，长喙的尖端则呈黑色。这种火烈鸟数量较少，人们看到的机会不多。小火烈鸟身高约90厘米，羽衣色调较深，喙部呈深红。这种火烈鸟色彩艳丽，数量较大，最能招惹游人的目光。因此，人们看到的，大多是小火烈鸟。

　　我的同事老孟是摄影爱好者，他拍了许多很好的鸟照片。我还有几个朋友，他们有很高级的拍鸟装备。我没有这些设备，仅有一个70-200的镜头。但主要还是我拍鸟的技术不行，因此这次没有特别好的照片。但我相信，纳库鲁湖中几百万只火烈鸟的宏大场面我是拍出来了。

My colleague, Mr. Meng, is a photographer, and he has many wonderful pictures of birds. I have a few friends who have a very high level of patting. I don't have any of these devices, only a 70-200 lens. But mostly I didn't have the technology to do it, so there's no good picture this time . But I believe that the grand spectacle of the millions of flamingos in the lake in the nakuru was photographed.
