<h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">The Simsbury Woman's Club is hosting its 47th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival on Saturday, September 17, 2016 and Sunday September 18, 2016. Over 100 artists and craftsmen will exhibit on Iron Horse Boulevard in Simsbury Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, rain or shine. Admission and parking are free. Demonstrations, food and a bake sale are included. </font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">由小镇妇女协会(Simsbury Women Club)主办的年度工艺美术节已经是第47届了。它的参展规定还挺多的。比如：</font></h3><h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">1) 参展销售的工艺品必须是摊主的原创, 且手工制作。</font></h3><h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">2) 不允许经销商(Agents)参加; </font></h3><h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">3) 不接受成批制造的产品；</font></h3><h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">4) 不接受由任何零配件组装而成的产品。</font></h3><h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">严格的游戏规则, 保证了小镇工艺美术节高质量, 所以很有逛头😊去这类工艺美术节转悠, 在我看来, 即使不花一分钱, 也能收获满满。</font></h3><h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">我们偶尔路过那里, 见场面热闹就过去溜达了一下。不想, 这一溜达, 竟花了两个多小时, 最后握着战利品心满意足地离开了。</font></h3><h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">下面是一组随手拍的手机照。许多摊主并不以此为生, 大多出于个人执着的业余爱好。</font></h3><h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">战利品之一来自这个小摊。摊主(亦是画家)就是照片中右上角那位, 名叫Debby Lindsley。我特别喜欢她的石头画, 光滑的园石块上画着憨态可鞠的小动物, 拿着就不想放下...... 最后, 给家里属猪的买了一个宝宝😊。其实旁边的猫头鹰</font>宝宝看起来也萌得不行😋</h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">小狐狸看起来一脸无辜的模样, 是如何被贴上“狡猾","奸诈”等标签的呢？</font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">这个摊位也挺有意思。用形态各异的玻璃盘, 碟, 杯, 中间打了洞窜起来，缀以各色珠子，就成玻璃花了。用作花园的点缀装饰。你去看了，说不定会有些DIY的启发。</font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">玻璃花成品。看起来似乎不难吧？</font></h3> <h3>这是今年的。用的都是瓷盘，看起来更精致了些。</h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">奢侈型的切菜板($140或更贵)。切割与拼装得极精致。我问摊主, 一个酷爱木工活的老头儿：有人会买去用来切菜吗？回答说: 有噢！反面切菜, 正面竖起搁在架子上就是装饰。仔细想一下, 应该效果不错。</font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">这款圣诞装饰完全可以DIY。家里总有一些看腻了的圣诞树球形挂饰吧？底上黏上各色纸杯蛋糕纸, 上面浇一层快干颜料, 再撒些彩珠...... 就大功告成啦！做上几个, 装在盆里, 若有蛋糕架, 像图中这么叠起可能更出彩，然后置在厨房的countertop上, 圣诞的氛围即刻就漫开了......</font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">这两位应该不是美国人吧。</font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">能猜出这些羽毛的价钱吗？说出来会吓一跳，当然，土豪例外。</font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">这根是$800！</font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">这些钥匙圈是用鹿角经车床加工而成。</font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">摊主, 一位82岁的海军陆战队(the marines)退伍军人。<br />老兵痴迷于车床精加工, 用各种材料车出精致的小物件, 如钥匙扣, 信封拆刀, 钢笔等等。<br /></font></h3><h3>今年老头还带了老太来一起坐镇。我们看着实在没忍住就买了把鹿角 deer horn 做的拆信刀，和一支 pink ivory wood 制的笔。</h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">对这些蘑菇其实也有点心动，只是想不出放在哪里。</font></h3> <h3><font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">战利品之一：小猪宝宝。因为用的是天然的圆石子, 所以每个小动物都是uniqe的。见小兔,小鸡们都有精巧的篮子作窝，我问Debby：小猪的家呢？她很开心地看着我：当然是那个很 cosy 的 little bag 啊!
