四代人同读一本书丨吴奇杰

<h3>1951年的9月，我那精医学、擅诗词、善书法的祖父吴佛缘，花6元钱托人从省城买来一本胡济涛、陶萍天编著的《新名词辞典》。该书黑漆皮纸包装，由郭沫若题写书名，上海春明书店1949年10月20日再版2200册，全国解放区各大书局经售。打开封面即是两张地图：第一张是世界新形势图，第二张是新中国的诞生地图，其中红字标明解放各大城市的时间、待解放地区和人民武装活动地区。全书共收录国际、政治、经济、社会、哲学、科学、艺术、地理、人物九类6000多条。比如在附录“军事委员会名单”中，习总书记之父习仲勋，时任中国人民解放军西北军区政治委员。</h3> <h3>听家父吴逢辰说，祖父吴佛缘是儒医书家，书法作品曾选送江苏省书法展览会，得到高度评价，著有《茀园诗草》，上世纪六十年代曾在东台县中医院授课。祖父将这本《新名词辞典》视若至宝，不仅为书包了封皮，而且不让外人碰，只在工作之余，拿出书来慢慢品读。不仅如此，他还照着《新名词辞典》一笔一画地用毛笔抄写学习重要条目，并且把重要名人列出来，写出他们的诗词书法作品，赠送给亲朋好友，结下了许多翰墨缘。至今东台很多文化大家，珍藏着祖父用行、草、隶、篆书写的作品。</h3><h3>听父母亲回忆，后来祖父慎重地把这本书送给了父亲。文革期间他俩在许河供销社工作期间，白天正常上班，晚上还经常被错误批斗，以莫须有的罪名发配到基层社下伸点、浴室接受改造，曾一度失去了生活的勇气。但父亲常翻阅的《新名词辞典》给了他力量，他坚信，乌云终究遮不住太阳,穿过黑暗，光明就会到来。粉碎“四人帮”后,父亲仿佛焕发了青春活力,把副业辅导、养殖业推广的工作,搞得风生水起,颇有成就。</h3><h3>1979年，刚满14岁的我,得以和调到台城工作的父亲一起，暂住在新桥口的外公外婆家,进入城南中学读初一,在宽松的环境里学习生活。父亲安顿好我后，郑重地把传了两代人的《新名词辞典》交到我手上：“没人督促你，更要自觉学习。辞典里有很多知识可以借鉴学习，有很多中外名人告诉你，成功之路如何走，遇到困难时该怎么做。”</h3><h3>在“振兴中华，实现‘四化’”口号盛行的八十年代初期，人们学知识、学文化蔚然成风，甚至搬着桌椅板凳在路灯下挑灯夜读，头发被蜡烛、煤油灯烤焦了也是常事。我常常翻阅《新名词辞典》，并对照《新华字典》，认识了不少生字和繁体字。结合所学的语文、政治、历史、地理、音乐等科目，把有关重要的名词摘抄下来，积累了几大本摘抄本，同学们送我雅号“摘抄大王”。对比较欣赏的中外名人，在摘抄名词的简介后面，常常配上一两句经典名言，如冰心——墙角的花，你孤芳自赏时天地便小了；巴金——奋斗就是生活，人生惟有前进；但丁——走自己的路，让别人去说吧；爱迪生——天才是百分之一的灵感，百分之九十九的汗水……</h3> <h3>吴奇杰，东台人，中国摄影著作权协会会员，中国石化摄影家协会会员，东台市摄影家协会会员。明末清初盐民诗人吴嘉纪十世孙，与堂兄编有《吴氏家族史》画册。诗歌《国贸，我想和你有个约定》，2017年荣获东台国贸集团、东台日报社“我看国贸二十年”有奖征文优秀作品奖。论文《清初盐民诗人吴嘉纪南京交游考》，2024年入选中国地方志工作办公室“中国地方志与中华优秀传统文化论坛——从天下文枢到世界文学之都”优秀论文集。</h3>
