<p class="ql-block">男女关不住，情窦飞出来！</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">张蓝平 (Peter)</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">世上有两样东西藏不住：咳嗽和爱情，Cough and Love can’t be hidden.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">有一种在男女很小的时候就产生的情愫关系，叫作“青梅竹马”，英语对“青梅竹马”是这样注释的：a man and a woman who had an innocent affection for each other in childhood.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">当男女长到十三、四岁少年的时候，他们互相有了感情，产生了初恋（Puppy Love），他们之间眉来眼去，暗送秋波，They cast sheep’s eyes at each other.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">而当男女都长大成人，他们便有了真正的爱情。爱情的产生有多种形式，比如“一见钟情”，很多人看好这种爱情形式，They believe it true to fall in love at very first sight.</p><p class="ql-block">当然也有男女在一起“日久生情”的，Love grows over time.</p><p class="ql-block">还有许多男女的结合是通过媒婆的介绍，Many people get to know each other and then married arranged by Match-Maker, or Go Between.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">男女之间初次见面约会（Blind Date），第一印象非常重要，The first impressions are half the battle.，因为“第一印象就是战斗胜利的一半”。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">在外表上，男人英俊、女人漂亮固然是重要的因素，但人不可貌相，Don’t judge a person by his or her appearance. ，因为美丽只是“皮肤之浅”，Beauty is only Skin Deep.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">一般来说，漂亮的女人都不愁嫁，但长相平庸的女人也会有人爱，因为“情人眼里出西施”，Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.，最终她们也都会找到如意郎君，Every pot has its lid.（锅都会有它的盖子）</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">男女在恋爱、约会期间最快乐并感到幸福，一个原因是，那时的爱情“是瞎子”，Love is Blind.， 恋爱的人都拒绝看到对方的弱点，In other words, when you are in love with someone, you may refuse to see anything bad about that person.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">在恋爱过程中，有一些女孩的爱总在变化，她们的爱就像吸烟人嘴里喷出的烟雾，随风漂移，英语是这样说的“The girl’s love is like a puff of smoke, it changes with every wind.”。</p><p class="ql-block">而有一些男孩也经常变心，英语说“Nothing is as changeable as a young man’s heart.”。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">无论如何，男女之间经过或长或短的恋爱阶段，他们便男大当婚女大当嫁，有情人终成眷属，皆大欢喜，All shall be well, Jack shall have Jill.，Jack 指男人，Jill 指女人。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">不过，现在有些人选择不结婚，他们认为“婚姻毁掉一切”，Marriage ruins everything. ，并坚信“婚姻表面光鲜、内涵却复杂”，Marriage is harder then it looks. </p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">还有一些人虽然结了婚，他们却决定不生孩子，过一个DINK的生活，Double Income, No Kids.，就是双工资、没有孩子。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">2025年2月13日</p>
