四九小年来，星君立灶台。

调羹香鹤骨，酿酒醉桃腮。

爆竹迎风绽，寒梅傲雪开。

桃符门上红，鬓发满头白。

注：星君，灶神的别名。

Little New Year Chant

On the fourth ninth day, the arrival of the little new year,

The Star Lord stands on the stove,

right here.

Enjoying delicious soup with fragrant crane bone,

Wine makes us intoxicated， with

peach-pink cheeks of our own.

Firecrackers burst loudly and brightly in the wind, yo,

Cold plum blossoms bloom proudly in the snow.

The peach talisman is red on the

door, of grace,

With white hair all over the temples on the face.

才食百家菜，
