<p class="ql-block">南佛罗里达州华人华侨联合会CASEC于二零二五年一月十一日同布劳沃德图书馆合作，在Miramar Branch Library举办了一场充满活力的 NEA Big Read 2025启动活动。此活动为南佛州华人社区二零二五年迎新春拉开了序幕，标志着 NEA Big Read 2025系列活动的开始，旨在促进社区内文化交流和合作。</p> <p class="ql-block">本活动的亮点是由华联代表Barry大学教授冯卫进行的互动中国书法演示，向与会者介绍了这一古老艺术形式的美丽和优雅。参与者有机会学习基本的毛笔技巧，探索书法的文化意义，最后，由参与者按照所学，每个人以毛笔写出一个中文字。最佳字体得奖者是一位来自佛罗里达国际大学的毕业生，获赠一本有关中国文化书籍。活动取得圆满成功。</p> <p class="ql-block">接下来佛州华联将于迈阿密电视台携手合办两场春节联欢晚会。分别与二零二五年二月二日在棕榈滩花园市下午两点和二零二五年二月一日北迈阿密滩市晚上六点举行。群星璀璨，敬请期待。由 CASEC 和布劳沃德图书馆主办的NEA Big Read 将于二零二五年二月八日上午 10:30 至下午 3:30 在North Regional图书馆继续举办 Art Lit 庆祝活动。此外，还有多次小型的有关中国文化的书籍、电影、和乐器的展示和讲座。</p><p class="ql-block">In a celebration of NEA Big Read 2025, the Chinese Association of Science, Education and Culture of South Florida partnered with the Broward Library to host a vibrant kick-off event at the Miramar Branch Library and Education Center.</p><p class="ql-block">The highlight of the event was an interactive Chinese Calligraphy demonstration by Professor Wei Feng from Barry University, where attendees were introduced to the beauty and elegance of this ancient art form. Participants had the opportunity to learn the basics of brush technique, explore the cultural significance of calligraphy, and at the end, everyone writes a word and then we choose whose one is the best. The best one is rewarded with a Chinese culture book.</p><p class="ql-block">The event marks the beginning of a series of NEA Big Read. collaborative programs aimed at promoting cultural exchange and learning within the community. </p>
