冰荷相依，败落寒塘里。

枯叶残枝尽憔悴，往昔芳华难继。

梦中繁茂皆虚，风中孤影长驻。

唯留瘦形痴守，祈盼春归荣舒。

Ice and Remnant Lotus In The

Ancient Yellow River in Suqian

Ice lies with lotus remnant，

In wintry scene, so solemn.

Faded leaves and broken stems,

All in a forlorn state it seems.

The past lushness now is gone,

Like a fleeting dream so prone.

In the cold wind, solitude reigns,

Silent and still, it all remains.

Waiting for spring to come,

With hope, the withered won't

succumb.

The cycle of life will go on,

New birth will arise when winter's

gone.
