Old Letter

Cleaning up the clutter of life, an old letter worn and tanned

Unfolding the past, the youthful encounters grand

Becoming memories of days long gone

Penned by a poet from the high plateau at dawn

"Dear maiden, winter's chill is nigh"

Are you and your homeland under a peaceful sky?

Blanketed in snow, the world pristine and pure

You, a distant warmth, a guiding allure

Next spring, I'll weave a floral crown

Using blooms from Maqu's meadows, renowned

If time could turn back its relentless track

When youth's vigor and joy we never lacked

Hand in hand, we'd race through the blooming plain

Leaving worldly worries, escaping the mundane

Now, the sender resides in heaven's embrace

Eternal on the grassland, a flower of grace

Year by year, the wind whispers a lonesome refrain

Like a flower's melody, in soft refrain
