J: Hi Sarah, did you see the weather this morning? It was pouring rain like crazy!

嗨，萨拉，你看到今天早上的天气了吗？简直是大雨倾盆！

S: Oh, I know! It was a real downnpour, I got completely soaked just walking from my car to the office.

J: Same here, I had an umbrella, but it didn't help much with the wind blowing the rain side ways.

S: I heard there's a chance of thunderstorms later today, I hope it doesn't get too severe.

我听说今天晚些时候可能会有雷暴雨，希望不要太严重。

J: Yeah, thunderstorms can be pretty intense around here. But on the bright side, I think the forecast for the weekend looks much better.

是呀，这里的雷暴雨有时也挺厉害的。但好消息是，周末的天气预报看起来好多了。

S: Really? I haven't checked yet, What's it supposed to be like?

J: They say it's going to be sunny and warm, with temperatures around 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Perfect for a weekend picnic or a walk in the park.

说会是晴天。气温大约华氏75℃。非常适合周末野餐或公园散步。

S: That sounds wonderful, I could definitely use some sunshine after all this rain. Do you know if it's going to stay that way?

J: Well, the weather app says it might get a bit cloudy on Sunday afternoon. But no rain is expected. Just some light clouds.

S: That's good to hear. I can handle a few clouds. Better than the freezing temperatures we had last week.

J: Absolutely, those cold snaps were brutal, I heard some places even had frost.

S: Yeah, my friend up North said they had to scrape ice off their car window in the morning. I'm glad we don't have to deal with that here.

J: For sure, and who knows,maybe we'll get back nice rainbow after the rain lifts and the sun comes out.

S: That would be a lovely sight. I guess we just have to be prepared for anything with this unpredictable weather.

J: Definitely, always good to have an umbrella and a jacket handy, just in case.

确实，随时带着雨伞和夹克，以防万一。

S: Agreed. Well, let's hope for some nice weather this weekend so we can enjoy it.
