At 9am it cleared up and as soon as I took off my poncho the rain came back. The weather in the mountains is so unpredictable. At the 15km mark it started to rain heavily and my shoes got wet very quickly. In the strong wind and heavy rain, with my shoes wet, I didn't care about choosing the road. I just dripped through the puddles. After the heavy rain had passed, there was another burst of sunshine and rain. I didn't see the coffee shop 9km away, the one at 13.5km was closed, and I couldn't even find a coffee shop at 21km. At 22.4km finally there was a shop on the road open. As it was raining all the time, I couldn't find a dry place, so I kept going and walked 22.4km without a break. That's 5km more than the last time of 17km in one go. At 14:15 I arrived at my accommodation, the Albergue Monte Aro, with a rating of 9.2. I stayed in a room with 28 beds. Lago is a small village, so we have to eat at the Albergue. However, this place is more like a restaurant, with small tables, where each person orders their own food, rather than eating a pilgrim's meal in an albergue.

I arrived early today and chose a bed by the . I can spread things out on the windowsill. The heater in the room was on and everyone put their wet clothes next to the heater to bake and they dried quickly.
