This is probably the shortest pilgrimage route. Including the distance from the albergue to the cathedral, I would walk 22.6 kilometres today. I left the albergue at 7.40am and walked to the cathedral just in time to hear the 8am bell. Despite the rain, the church spire was visible from two kilometres away.

Not many people were walking on this road, enjoying the quiet time in the rain. On the way I walked with a German girl, she is a university student and has little time. She planned to walk 90km in 3 days. At 13:30 we reached Negreira, where I stayed for the day, and she had another 10km to go.

Stayed at Albergue Alecrin。

Everyone's shoes are wet, use old newspapers to absorb the moisture. Here the shoes should be kept under the eaves outside the door. As the rain got heavier and heavier and showed no sign of stopping, I quietly took my shoes inside and hid them under the bed. Later, there were no shoes left on the shoe rack. Luckily, no one came to check the shoe rack. The rain continued into the night.
