1. The support from my Chinese teacher makes me grow

When I was in the primary school, I wanted to take part in a Chinese speech contest. However, I was not confident enough to have a try. When my Chinese teacher knew that, she had a talk with me. She told me her similar experience during her childhood and encouraged me to prepare for the speech. She also helped me to practise the speech again and again after school. Before I stood on the stage of the speech, she said in a gentle voice, " My child, calm down and believe in yourself. You're already successful in my heart." I was very thankful to her for her support and encouragement which makes me grow.

2. My English teacher left me a deep impression

Once I was a shy girl and I was not very good at English. But my English teacher, Miss Li changed me. She left me a deep impression. One day, Miss Li told us we would have an English speech contest two months later. Everyone was happy except me because I was too shy to speak in the public. Miss Li came up to me with a smile and encouraged me, " Just have a try. I believe you can overcome it." From then on, I practised with Miss Li every day. Finally, I got the second prize in the speech contest. I was very excited and thankful to Miss Li. From her, I know that if you make up your mind to do something and put your heart into it, you will succeed.

3. My view on Chinese painting

I have learned Chinese painting for many years. I love it very much. I always sit quietly for hours, focusing on what I am painting with my brush and Chinese ink. I'm really keen on it and feel fulfilled(满足的) especially when I finish a piece I'm pleased with. I don't think Chinese painting will disppear in the future because it reflects(反映) the Chinese culture. It can be remained(保留) and delivered generation by generation(代代相传) as a form of art. And nowadays, many foreigners are very interested in it and even start to learn about it. I think learning Chinese painting can bring us peace and patience. It can also raise our ability of observing and creating.
