山山水水，云雾飘渺，你轻开房门，远山近水，在眼前，在足下，在云中，在山巅。花树傍路开，水静舟自横。

仲春时节，雾气清新。猫儿洗脸，小狗卖萌。天籁，犹如天地呼吸，欸乃声未起，万物皆灵动。石击水面，层层涟渏。渔人摇桨，雾开舟出。红灯一闪一灭，雾霭忽开忽散。

翠竹青青，竹笋拔节。一声声脆响，一声声虫鸣，拨起了大地之弦，又触及心灵的巧弓。经年己过，岁月无痕。人与山偕，茅庐僻静。檐牙有点滴水落，滴答溅润舍前篱花。

轻拨琴弦，暗香盈门；再按琴弦，山中鸟音犹闻。大地苍茫，点点忧伤。雾霭重重，一帘旧梦。心底无限事，争与琴慢诉。急风与怒号，瞬间流出指缝。抚平难静心，幻灭烟云中。

山水的哲理

山也静，人也静，似有尤人撩拔心。云轻飞，水潺潺，入山已几载，无人知魏晋。琶音拂过琴，云开日耀金。

忆往昔，江湖上，风高浪急，扁舟纵横。搏风击浪，一任飘零。风停雨歇，急奔彼岸。云中传来袅袅梵音，莫非错入桃源仙境？

小径横斜，屋舍俨然。古村家禽，三五成群。远处虹桥，忽现一牵牛老翁。趋前问安，此处乃何方胜境？老人云：“ 此乃山水禅境，红尘凡夫几难问津。 ”

村中人，大部皆前朝遗民。为避兵祸，误入山林。老人问：“敢问阁下，为何误撞误入此山此村北门？ ”正欲续聊，忽然梦醒。

人在山水中，早知山水情。久在山水中，忽梦仙和神。其实，山也空，水亦濛，只是凡心未尽。日有所思，夜有所梦。

静居山中，欲归红尘。山水情的琴声，让人回味无穷，五味杂陈。怀揣《山水情》，无论躲深山，还是归红尘，人的一生，必定也无风雨也无晴。(完）

The Charm of Mountains and Waters: An Appreciation of the Guqin Solo "Shanshuiqing"

1. The Introduction

"Shanshuiqing" (literally "The Sentiment of Mountains and Waters") is a modern Guqin piece composed by the renowned contemporary Guqin master Jin Fuzai（金复载）. Taking landscape and rural scenery (山水田园) as its theme, the piece depicts the composer's deep affection for nature.


Performed by Gong Yi, the Guqin solo "Shanshuiqing" unfolds like a captivating landscape painting(山水画 ), leaving the listener with a lingering sense of wonder and tranquility.

2. The Enchanting Realm of Mountains and Waters


As you gently open the door, mountains and rivers, near and far, greet your eyes, nestled among clouds and peaks. Blossoms bloom by the roadside, while a boat rests peacefully on still waters.


In the fresh mist of early spring, playful cats and dogs add to the lively scene. Nature's melody resonates, like the breath of heaven and earth (天地), awakening all living beings. A stone hits the water, creating ripples that spread out in circles. A fisherman rows his boat, parting the mist as he sails forth. A red lantern flickers, casting dancing shadows on the swirling mist.


Lush green bamboos(翠竹青青) sway in the breeze, and bamboo shoots pierce through the soil. Crisp sounds and chirping insects pluck the strings of the earth, touching the chords of the soul. Time passes without leaving a trace, as humans and mountains coexist in harmony, in a secluded thatched hut. Drops of water trickle from the eaves, nourishing the flowers by the fence.


With a gentle strum of the Guqin strings (琴弦), a faint fragrance fills the air; another pluck brings forth the echoes of birdsong from the mountains. The vastness of the earth evokes a sense of melancholy, while layers of mist shroud forgotten dreams. The heart's unspoken desires yearn to be confided in the slow melody of the qin. The howling wind and raging storm surge through the fingers, leaving behind a restless heart that struggles to find peace, fading away like wisps of smoke.

3. The Profound Philosophy of Mountains and Waters


Stillness pervades both the mountains and the human heart, as if stirred by an invisible force. Clouds drift gracefully(輕盈), water flows murmuringly(潺潺), and years have passed since entering the mountains, yet no one knows of the Wei and Jin dynasties(魏晋). As the melodic notes (琶音) brush across the Chinese Guqing （琴）, the clouds part to reveal the golden sun.


Recalling the past, on the turbulent rivers and lakes(江湖), a lone boat braves the wind and waves, drifting aimlessly. When the storm finally subsides, it rushes towards the other shore(彼岸). From within the clouds, wafts the faint sound of Buddhist chants(梵音), as if one has strayed into a utopian paradise(桃源仙境).


Paths crisscross, leading to quaint houses. Domestic animals gather in groups, while a rainbow bridge looms in the distance. An old man, leading an ox, emerges from the mist. Approaching him, one inquires about this wondrous place. The old man replies, "This is the landscape zen state (山水禅境界), a place rarely accessible to ordinary people(凡夫俗子)."


Most of the villagers are remnants of the previous dynasty, who fled to the mountains to escape the war. The old man asks, "May I ask, how did you come to this mountain village's north gate?" Just as they are about to continue their conversation, the dream abruptly ends.

4. Dwelling in Mountains and Waters, Embracing Tranquility


Living amidst mountains and waters, one comes to understand the true meaning of landscape emotion（山水情）. After spending a long time in the mountains, one even dreams of immortals and deities. In reality, mountains are empty and waters are hazy, merely reflections of the human heart's desires. As the saying goes, what one thinks about during the day, one dreams about at night("日有所思，夜有所梦").


Dwelling in the mountains, one yearns to return to the mundane world(尘世). The melody of "Shanshuiqing" lingers in the mind, evoking a myriad of emotions. Carrying the spirit of 'Shanshuiqing' in one's heart, whether secluding oneself in the mountains(隱居深山) or returning to the mundane world, one's life journey will inevitably be filled with both joy and sorrow.(End)
