艺术最高境界就是精神物化，师法自然，最好的作品是来自大自然，也就是我们经常说的“天然雕饰”方为上品。艺术精神是艺术作品的灵魂，是艺术作品借助于艺术语言与艺术技法表达的主题思想，表现出作者内心的情感或者是艺术语言的一种形态，创作艺术作品中的灵动气息和文化意识，主要是在艺术作品中体现出的艺术精神。艺术精神作为拥有超越品格的灵性存在，他的艺术精神会启示艺术精神。当然，艺术家一旦为艺术精神而为之创造，那么伟大的艺术作品随即产生艺术灵魂，这就是艺术精神在作品中的重要内核。

从地球村说起，从人类诞生文明说起，我们人类共同的地球村家园我们人类当下又在思考着什么？人类发展到今天，地球在自然生态下已经是发生了变化，变暖趋势已经是迫在眉睫，战争，工业污染，过度开发，日本大地震和核污染，全球疫情等等的自然灾害，我想这都是大自然向我们人类发出的信号。地球是有陆地森林，海洋冰川和山川峡谷等多种物质所构成，经历数亿万年的形成，地球上开始出现了生命体，至今人类发展已经是中年时期，也就是说我们人类与地球同是在壮年时期，为了更好的健康有序发展，那么我们人类如何健康发展，如何保护我们的地球家园，如何保护自然，如何保护森林，怎么样保护地球生态，当下，都给我们提出了新的要求。中国森林覆盖面主要是在东北的大兴安岭，小兴安岭等地，森林给我们人类生活带来了巨大的开发利用价值，无疑中的大自然又在警示着我们人类些什么。木结雕艺术家张迎先生就是在祖国最富饶的原始森林黑龙江这块土地上走出来的木结雕艺术大师，在他的木结雕作品中正向我们诉说着什么…。

Starting from the global village, starting from the birth of civilization, what are we currently thinking about as a common global village home for humanity? Today, with the development of humanity, the Earth has undergone changes in its natural ecology, and the trend of warming is imminent. Natural disasters such as war, industrial pollution, excessive development, the Japanese earthquake and nuclear pollution, and the global epidemic are all signals sent by nature to us humans. The Earth is composed of various substances such as land forests, ocean glaciers, and mountains, rivers, and canyons. After billions of years of formation, life forms have begun to appear on the Earth. To this day, human development is already in the middle age, which means that we are both in our prime. In order to achieve better healthy and orderly development, how can we humans develop healthily, how to protect our Earth homeland, how to protect nature, and how to protect forests, How to protect the Earth's ecology has put forward new requirements for us at present. The forest coverage in China is mainly in the Greater Xing'an Mountains and the Lesser Xing'an Mountains in Northeast China. Forests have brought great development and utilization value to human life, and undoubtedly, nature in China is warning us of something. Mr. Zhang Ying, a woodblock carving artist, is a woodblock carving master who emerged from the richest primitive forest of our country, Heilongjiang. In his woodblock carving works, he is telling us something.

张迎先生／寻趣堂主，号野沙。祖籍河北省香河县。喜欢用木结雕刻作品，在书法上也有很深造诣，他首创兰竹体书法艺术，并有专著《兰竹体书法大字典》。古体诗《野沙集》，《负宇宙论》等等专著。在他的早期作品中《呼唤》可以说是张迎先生的成名作。木结雕作品《呼唤》在北京参加林业部主办的林业美展，在作品展出时就得到了林业部主办单位的领导和美协的老前辈、艺术家们的一致好评，也就是在这次的展出后，助推了张迎先生为了创作木结雕系列作品的决心，在东北黑龙江大森林这片土地上他一待就是几十年，也正是这片黑土地上的奇形怪状木节成就了他的艺术人生。

Mr. Zhang Ying's ancestral home is Xianghe County, Hebei Province. He likes to carve works with wood and has a deep understanding of calligraphy. He pioneered the art of orchid and bamboo calligraphy and has a monograph called "A Dictionary of Orchid and Bamboo Calligraphy". Monographs on ancient poetry such as "The Wild Sand Collection" and "Negative Cosmology". In his early works, 'Call' can be said to be Mr. Zhang Ying's masterpiece. The woodcarving work "Call" participated in the Forestry Art Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Forestry in Beijing. During the exhibition, the work received unanimous praise from the leaders of the Ministry of Forestry's organizing unit, senior artists of the Art Association, and artists. It was after this exhibition that Mr. Zhang Ying's determination to create a series of woodcarving works was boosted. He stayed in the Northeast Heilongjiang Forest for decades, It is precisely the strange shaped wooden knots on this black land that have led to his artistic life.

在上世纪八十年代木头、木节，可以说是一门新生的艺术形式，从未有过记载的艺术门类，是化腐朽为神奇的一门崭新艺术语境。张迎先生是一个创造力及强，并且是非常富有激情的艺术家，不仅从娴熟的技法，到理论上他总是善于提出一些具有学术性的问题，他提出来的“木节雕刻”，在这期间得到了时任中国美协书记处书记的雷正民先生，改为“木结雕”，意为团结、结合木雕和根雕之美，并把中国的传统木雕技艺、人文精神、审美价值融入一体，变废为宝，化腐朽为神奇的一门新的艺术名称“木结雕”就在张迎先生这里开始，现被誉为木结雕创始人。

During this period, his proposal for "woodblock carving" was changed to "woodblock carving" by Mr. Lei Zhengmin, who was then the Secretary of the Secretariat of the Chinese Artists Association, meaning unity, combining the beauty of wood carving and root carving, and combining traditional Chinese woodblock carving techniques The integration of humanistic spirit and aesthetic value, the transformation of waste into treasure, and the transformation of decay into magic, is a new art called "Wooden Carving", which began with Mr. Zhang Ying and is now known as the founder of Wooden Carving.

如果我们从整体上审视张迎先生的艺术创作就不难看出他是一个敢于创新，勇于探索善于发现，有思想的艺术家，是带着哲学思考在创作自己的木结雕作品。在他的艺术人生中，经历过痛苦与艺术的思考，经历过迷茫与自然的悲凉，经历过生态环境的过度开发给他带来的思考，他在思考我们人类从哪里来又要到哪里去的终极追问。上帝总是眷顾一个有使命，有担当的人，一个有责任有担当的艺术家也定会发现美、创造美、再现美。张迎先生是位非常勤奋敢于挑战，勇于探索的一位艺术家，长期深入在大自然的森林之中，感悟自然、与树木灵性的对话，他是靠近上帝的人，他是懂得万物生命的人，在发现树的木节的同时发现了一个宇宙，发现了时间的痕迹看到了岁月的流逝，发现了自然与生命的孕育看到了人生的意义，我们在读他的作品时我们感觉到了残缺之美，神奇之美，力量之美，感受到了时间的长河，感受到了生命之源。老子《德道经》第六章中的谷神不死，“谷神不死是谓玄牝。玄牝之门，是谓天地根。绵绵若存，用之不勤”。译文：（空间的神奇作用是持久不变的，它好像一个玄妙的母体。而这一母体的生产之门，就是孕育万物的源头。空间永远存在着，人们使用它又用之不尽）。在张迎先生的木结雕作品中《黑洞》、《天眼》等等作品中都能看到木结雕形体的视觉张力，崇尚自然、意蕴通幽和作品本身材质的美，同时在他的艺术语境中感受艺术的生命之道，向往光明的天道。
