一叶扁舟

When I was a tiny baby, my mom looked after me very carefully;

When I was a student, my mom cooked delicious food every morning;

When I was studying, my mom gave me a cap of hot milk each night;

When I playing outside, my mom made sure my safety;

When I was learning to bike, my mom taught me hand by hand;

Whatever Ido, my mom wants me to be best;

Now I’m understanding, mom knows best.

I used to have many questions.

Why others could eat snacks but I was only allowed to eat vegetables.

Why others could play outside but I was only allowed to learn English.

Why others could own toys but I was only allowed to buy books.

But now I grew up, I suddenly understanded mom.

I run faster then others because of my healthy body;

I studied better than others because of my hard work;

I knew more than others because of my colorful knowledge.

Listened to mother’s words. Don’t hurt her heart.

I will grow up quickly to protect her.
