一封情书—女儿送给我的生日礼物（英文原版）

在我生日的当天，午夜12点的钟声刚刚响起，我收到了一封特殊的生日礼物——女儿竟然以一个14岁翩翩少年的口吻，给她臆想中四十年前的同样14岁的我，用英文写了这封至纯至真的情书平和、柔软、细腻、含蓄。

我想对女儿说，谢谢你的情书，让几十年匆匆赶路而错过的风景，再次一幕幕浮现在我的眼前，同时更让我透过你嘻哈的外表读懂了你细腻独特的内心和有趣富足的灵魂……。

于是我精心地把女儿写给我的情书翻译成中文，以文字记录母女之间的情感唱和。

MUMMY’S BIRTHDAY! YAY!!!

To celebrate this year, I’ve compiled all of my imagination based on the stories she told me about countless boys confessing their love to her during her middle school years. She’d claimed to have received bundles of love letters from these boys, but rejected all of them.This is my tribute to say that I write better love letters than all of them combined (HAHAHA), but also to say that I love mother more than all of them combined. Happy Birthday, mArmAr, don’t reject my love like you did the rest of them.

sun to my sky,

My breath, my branch.

And moisture to my eyes.

I said your name with the whitest teeth,

annunciating keenly

To the sound of rhythmic bees.

You are beckoning at school,

Betty in the winter,

On cobblestone resting at five foot two.

To go as far back as 1983

with flared slacks,

cloth-bound flats,

and spectacles rounded at the edges.

You are just another daughter.

But I spy with my little eye,
