<h3>大运河滑县段又称“永济渠”现称“卫河”。滑县段属于隋唐大运河，战国时期称之清水河或清河，是黄河故道，东汉末年曹操引淇水入白沟，公元608年隋汤帝诏发河北诸郡百万民夫，在沁河左岸引沁水，开凿永济河回流泾春秋古卫国之地，明称“卫河”。</h3><h3> 2008年河南省政府公布为历史文化名镇，河南省四大名镇之一。2014年审批为世界文化遗产和世界遗产。</h3><h3> 大运河曾经有过几百年的辉煌。作为华北平原上重要的内河交通航道，直到上世纪70年代末停止通航。</h3><h3> 大运河原有生态古道长8240米，宽35～50米。古码头9座，老水闸6处，城墙3000米，明清街区古建筑1122间，老字号5处，古庙宇2处，老胡同16条，票号1处，这些文物遗迹都是运河的产生、发展与繁荣的历史见证。。</h3><h3>
