众鸟高飞尽，孤云独去闲。

相看两不厌，只有敬亭山。

Only Mount. Jingting's on my list to stay.

There's only Jingting mountain to stand still.

创作背景和时间猜测之二：

上元二年，李白已岁逾花甲，在经历了安史之乱后的漂泊流离，经历了蒙冤被囚禁的牢狱之灾，经历了带罪流放的屈辱之后，李白第七次、也是最后一次来到宣城时，再也没有昔日友朋如云、迎来送往的场面了，再也没有北楼纵酒、敬亭论诗的潇洒了。他兀自一人步履蹒跚地爬上敬亭山，独坐许久，触景生情，十分伤感，孤独凄凉袭上心头，情不自禁地吟下了《独坐敬亭山》这首千古绝唱。这比较符合李白创作此诗的时空背景。
