No pains, No gains！ ——记潮阳中英文学校七、八年级英语单词大比拼竞赛活动

汕头市潮阳中英文学校

为提高学生学习英语的兴趣，营造校园的英语文化氛围，我校决定举行“英语单词大比拼”。通过此次比赛，加强学生记忆单词的意识，提高学生记忆单词的能力，为今后的英语学习打下扎实的基础。2023年6月13日，我校七、八年级举行了一次英语单词大比拼竞赛活动。 　　“No words, No language”. 学习任何一种语言，基础是词汇，拿下英语单词才能大幅度提升英语各项技能的水平。为此，学部从开学之初就在教学处的安排下，狠抓英语词汇教学，科学的培养英语词汇的发音、记忆和运用，效果显著。赛前，同学们在英语老师的指导下，读单词，记单词，默单词，营造了浓厚的学习英语氛围。 　　此次活动七、八年级全体同学集体参加，英语组的老师根据本学期教学重难点查找资料、出题、审核、打印……此次活动以教材为依据，力求真实反映每个学生的学情。 　比赛中，同学们全情投入，沉着冷静，现场气氛紧张而有序。大家都全力以赴，争取获得最好的成绩。有的奋笔疾书，有的冥思苦想，大家奋勇争先，不甘落后。 个人满分获奖名单 八年级 七年级 　　通过此次“我是单词王”单词竞赛活动，不仅督促学生有效复习单词，还增强了学生们对英语单词记忆的兴趣，让学生们在竞争中相互借鉴学习单词背诵的好方法、好点子，让学生参与到单词背诵活动中，体会到英语单词的魅力。 英语谚语选读 一、学习方法与态度 1.
