In Chinese culture, the tiger represents the masculine principle in nature and is the king of all the animals. </p><p class="ql-block">This activity is believed to drive poisonous creatures away and keep away diseases and evil things. Press it down to make sure it's tight. </p><p class="ql-block">4.Use your thumb and forefinger pinch the top of the pocket(cone) to make a triangle .And cover it with the leaves to form a triangle.</p><p class="ql-block">5.Fold the leaves.Tie it with a string(rope). Touhu had been a part of the traditional etiquette and also a banquet game of the Han people from the pre Qin times to the end of Qing Dynasty, which was popular in the Spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period. As the name suggests, the game of throwing pot is just like some entertainment games like playing cards at the drinking table for us modern people. Traditionally, the five creatures refer to centipedes（[ˈsentɪpiːd] ）, scorpions, snakes, toads, and geckos. Poisonous creatures, brought out by the warming weather and seasonal fluctuations, as well as natural disasters and illnesses are common in the fifth month.</p> <p class="ql-block"><b>箭射五毒</b></p> <p class="ql-block"><b>竞技时间-龙舟竞技：</b></p><p class="ql-block">Rules in English (Briefing by Jeff's Mom)</p><p class="ql-block">(1) A Dragon Boat in principle is wearing the Dragon head, the Dragon tail, the drum and drum chair.</p><p class="ql-block">(2) Composition of the crew: A Dragon Boat Racing crew of boats with 20 paddlers is composed of min. 18, max. 20 paddlers, the drumer, and the steerer (captain).</p><p class="ql-block">(3) Dragon Boats shall be propelled solely by means of single bladed paddles. The paddles may not be fixed on the boats in any way except the rudder-paddle 舵桨at the helm 舵of the boat.</p><p class="ql-block">(4) The crews must follow the instructions of the starter. The starting command sounds: “Attention, Go / Ready, Steady, Go". There may be used a starting pistol or whistle.</p><p class="ql-block">(5) A crew must conduct and finish its race in the same lane in which it started.</p><p class="ql-block">(6) During the race the drummer has to actively beat the drum.</p><p class="ql-block">(7) The race phase includes the passing of the race course from the starting line up to the reaching of the finish line.</p><p class="ql-block">(8) The course umpires 裁判员are controlling the race progress.</p><p class="ql-block">(9) All races must be supervised followed by two unpire boats minimum.</p><p class="ql-block">(10) The crews must keep in the center of the lanes. The crew will be called to order two times and then finally be warned if a strong deviation from the course occurs. If the teams not correcting the course after the final warning the respective team may be disqualified by the Competition Committee after receiving the respective report by the course umpire.</p><p class="ql-block">(11) The boat has finished the race when its dragon head crosses the finish line with all crew nembers in it.</p><p class="ql-block">(12) The chief finish judge evaluates the order of the finish running in.
