Belle suddenly stops dancing, and stands still aground.

Afraid in the music tone there appeares 

The painful Chu song sound.

SONG OF WHITE SNOW 

SENDING KHROM WU BACK TO THE CAPITAL

Even in August the Tartar sky's full of snow.

The general can't free draw his rigid bow fair;

Th' commander's hard to wear his frozen armor wear.

The boundless desert is filled with the crisscrossed ice

There hang vast clouds sad and drear, that's not very nice.

In tent's the feast for th' guest back to capital bound;

In the camps Tartar lutes, flutes and pipes well resound.

At dusk the heavy snow falls fast on the camp gate;

In the gale the frozen red flags won't undulate.

At the east gate of Luntai we see thee away；

When you are gone the snow fills the Mount Tianshan's way.

We can't find thee on th' twisted hill road in the blow; 

Only thy horse hoof prints can we see in the snow.

Agee are ten- mile- long shades of willows tall.

Folks to Luoyang to watch flowers've homed overall.

Gone are the spring scenes all;

An' needs help of heroes great.

Qi King praised mantis bold,

All fought for the Qi State.

Yue king saluted th' frog；

The soldiers fought with zest.

Steed's judged thro long-way jog;

The worst time tests the best.

Cover it or coat it,

By rules of the divine.

Soft as south winds that flit,

It falls a drizzle fine.

The mouth's like the shut gate;

Tongue's the bolt for the shot.

Once the gate's ope some date,

Instead，the flowers let me think of thee.

Each night I do not stop missing for aye.

On such a night in waning candle light,

Alone I sleep in th' empty hall so vast.

In autumn it's before the dawn at night;

It's raining cats and dogs in the cold blast. 



If I don't learn ascetic Dharma lore,

Then how can I forget sad things before.
