<p class="ql-block">"Reading a book many times is self-evident." To further cultivate students' core competences, arouse their interest in English, encourage them to learn the skills of pronunciation and intonation, pay attention to their ideological outlook, open their horizon, we hold an English reciting competition.</p><p class="ql-block">“书读百遍，其义自见。”为了进一步培养学生的核心素养，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养欣赏美文感受力，培养自信品质，鼓励学生学习发音技巧、语音语调和朗诵仪态，拓展学生视野，增强竞争意识，合江中学八年级组织了“'Wonderful English, Beautiful Voice”英语朗诵比赛。</p> <p class="ql-block">Preparation</p><p class="ql-block">An activity can't go well without enough preparation.Our English teachers of Grade Eight had a heated discussion about the tasks for this activity.We not only advertised the competition but also give the relevant support if the students need any.To ensure the effect of reciting,we and our studnets provide the music and the ppt.</p><p class="ql-block">赛前准备</p><p class="ql-block">一场活动得以顺利地展开，离不开充足的准备工作。我们八年级英语备课组，针对于这次活动，进行了精心细致的安排，各个老师相互合作，发挥特长。不仅仅宣传了活动，还鼓励优秀的学生参加，并且进行赛前培训，演讲技能指导，朗诵文本的选择，让学生们收获满满。为了让朗诵更有效果，我们的每位参赛选手都准备了PPT和背景音乐。</p> <p class="ql-block">After the careful consideration of the four judges,the results of the reciting competition have been released.</p><p class="ql-block">经过评委老师们的斟酌考究，最终评比结果新鲜出炉。</p> <p class="ql-block">Appreciation of the first prize</p><p class="ql-block">一等奖获得者风采</p> <p class="ql-block">The students got the first prize because of their beautiful voice,fluent English, vivid expressions and appropriate appearance and demeanor.</p><p class="ql-block">一等奖获得者，他们用优美的声音，流利的语言，生动的表情，恰当的仪表仪态获得了评委老师们的一致好评。</p> <p class="ql-block">Appreciation of the second prize</p> <p class="ql-block">Compared with the first prize,the materials of reciting is less diverse,but they have their own understanding of the materials and express their feelings when they recite them. The students spend their time practicing and expressing for their work.</p><p class="ql-block">二等奖作品与一等奖作品相比，作品选材内容不够丰富多彩，但是表现力还算不错，每一篇朗诵作品都是一份用心和时间铸就的。</p> <p class="ql-block">There are a lot of works for the third prize. Students are confident and they show their love of reciting.</p><p class="ql-block">三等奖作品数量可观，学生自信地朗诵着各自的作品，从作品中可以感受到学生对英语的喜爱。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">After the award ceremony, Mr. Guo gave an important speech to encourage students who took part in the reciting competition. He said," All of you must learn English well. Here are the three reasons. First of all, you can see a wider world if you learn English well. Secondly, you will get into a famous and good university if you learn English well. Last but not least, you can creat strong learning atmosphere if you learn English well." The students realized the importance of learning English well and we believe they will work harder in English in the future. </p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">颁奖典礼最后环节，郭校长给参赛的学生们进行了重要讲话。郭校长语重心长地说道：“孩子们，你们一定得学好英语。原因有三点，一：学好英语，才能走向国际，走向世界。二：学好英语，你会更简单更容易地进入好的大学，拥有优秀的学历。三：学好英语，你才可以掀起一股班上学习英语的浪潮，营造学习英语的氛围。听了郭校长的讲话，学生们意识到了学好英语的重要性。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size:18px;">Although the activity is over, the desire and interests of students in learning and using English are arosed.
