<p class="ql-block">Good morning，everybody！Today the topic of my presentation is never never give up. </p><p class="ql-block">Every one of us must have experienced some moment when we made a great effort to do Sth. ,but the result turned out to be bad. So we felt discouraged and frustrated. </p><p class="ql-block">Will you hold on to it or give it up? </p><p class="ql-block">Different people have different attitude to facing this situation. </p><p class="ql-block">But what I want to share with you is ,whether you are in adversity or in prosperity, never never give up!</p><p class="ql-block">Do you still remember 3 Chinese spacemen, Nie Haisheng, Liu Bomjn, Tang Hongbo, who spent 3 months living in space? </p><p class="ql-block">It is believed to be the longest stay in space for Chinese astronauts!</p><p class="ql-block">Not only did they have to set up the core module but they also had to carry out a series of technical tests. </p><p class="ql-block">This mission was very difficult and the challenges were great.</p><p class="ql-block">So what was it that made them overcome these difficulties? </p><p class="ql-block">Persistence, strong willpower, perseverance, out of question!</p><p class="ql-block">As we know，many decades ago, the space development in China fell far behind the United States and Russia. But today we made great achievements in space exploration thanks to the spirit of never giving up. </p><p class="ql-block">It was also proved in Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Chinese athletes won 38 gold medals, among which many were won by some post 2000 generation. One of them，Quan Hongchan, a little skinny girl, born in a poor family in Guangzhou, became the youngest Chinese gold medalist in the diving event at the Olympics after Fu Mingxia. Quan Hongchan owed her success to the practice of dive after dive instead of a lot of great training techniques. Had it not been for her practice over and over again, she couldn’t have made a breakthrough in diving event!</p><p class="ql-block">So believe it! Where there is a will, there is a way! Never say never! A life without a friend is like a life without sunshine.</p><p class="ql-block">The first day I stepped into the dormitory door of my university, I caught sight of her，Bella, my best friend. Tall, slim, and kind, she stood in the front of the bed and said hi to me. When I started to make the bed, she came over to help me. It was so sweet of her to give me a hand! I said thank you to her. And since then, we had been very close to each other wherever we went. </p><p class="ql-block">When we studied in the classroom, we sat together.</p><p class="ql-block">When we went to the canteen for lunch or dinner, we went together.</p><p class="ql-block">When we had a rest on the weekend, we went shopping together on a bicycle for only one.</p><p class="ql-block">When one of us was ill，the other one would take care without any hesitation.</p><p class="ql-block">The most exciting thing was that we were both from Shaoxing. We had so much in common in our appearance as well as in personality. Our classmates often mistook her for me and mistook me for her. It was so funny! </p><p class="ql-block">Sadly, 4 years went by quickly. We had to say goodbye to our studenthood. After graduation both of us returned to our hometown as an English teacher. Then we got married, gave birth to our babies! We have less and less time for each other because we have new responsibilities for our family and work. </p><p class="ql-block">Although distance separates her from me. Friendship will never die as time passes by. </p><p class="ql-block">Nowadays，we can keep contact with each other by means of qq, WeChat and many other communicating ways. We will still stand by each other wherever we go and whatever we do!</p><p class="ql-block">So this is my best friend.
