本节课选自人教版八年级上册第四单元的写作课。本单元的话题是The best places in your town. 语言功能是Discuss preferences and make comparisons.本节课目的是让学生正确运用最高级去推荐家乡最好的地方，引导学生热爱自己的家乡，理解创建文明城市对家乡建设的意义。
本节课以观看一名本班学生宣传家乡创建文明城市的视频作为导入，让大家对我们城市的创文活动有所了解。首先以政府邀请大家为家乡写推荐稿为情境，激发学生为家乡代言的创作欲望。接下来先由学生讨论分享他们认为家乡有哪些最好的地方，再呈现老师写的一篇推荐稿，引导学生通过读自己的作品去分析写作框架、写作内容和写作技巧，然后通过迁移创新写自己为家乡代言的推荐稿，来表达自己对家乡的热爱。最后通过思考创文的目的，让学生明白创建文明城市是每一个人的责任和义务，增强学生为家国建设做贡献的使命感。
教学过程：
Step 1 Lead in
1.Watch a video about creating a civilized city.
2.Show a piece of news: Step 2 Pre-writing
1.Where do you think is the best place in our town? Why? Let’s talk with our partner. 2.I wrote a passage to recommend the best places I think.
Read it together and then discuss the following questions with your group members.
(4 students are in a group.)
1.What’s the tense of this passage?
2.How many parts are there in the passage?
3.What’s the topic sentence?
4.What places did I recommend?
5.Why did I recommend those places?
6.What can people do in those places?
7.How did I end this passage?
8.What connection words can you find in the passage? Step 3 While -writing

1.以创文作为写作的背景，紧接当下社会热点
2.分析范文时思路清晰
3.板书内容全面，且通过设计“文”这个汉字与创文这个情境相呼应。
4.时间看错，导致课程比较赶，且学生的作文展示不够多。
5.Free talk部分应给学生三分钟时间准备一下再进行分享。
6.范文出示时应先读一下，然后再一次性给出所有问题，让学生小组讨论之后再进行结构分析。
