Master Huang Zhou, a figure in Chinese painting, is a well-known one; Shu Chunguang, a landscape painter in the western regions, is unique in his unique boneless painting. In recent years, Mr. Zhou Guanghui, a master of landscape painting, is also an active one. He takes the prosperity of landscape painting in the western regions as his own responsibility, and combines the persistence of Xinjiang painters in independent creation. He said with deep feeling that although there is no frontier in ink, Xinjiang's outstanding contribution to Chinese ink painting must be "there is frontier in ink". 周光辉作品 “一骑走遍天山南北，一笔独写西域山水”我以这样二句话概括周光辉先生的艺术实践。自张骞出使西域以来留下许多边塞诗，“大漠孤烟直，长河落日圆。”故周先生有号曰“大漠狂人”，西域山水与边塞诗渊源深厚，所谓“诗中有画，画中有诗”这样的画就不是图文解字自带境界。中国山水画尤贵其大、大彻大悟、大仁大智、大真大实、大喜大悲、大动大静、大拙大朴、大统一大和谐，“大”对广袤的西域来说再合适不过了。西域山水画对中国山水画的贡献就是空间发生了极限的改变，多种自然场域呈现出各种咫尺天涯的错觉画面，周先生坐拥西域山水必定是造境高手。“搜尽奇峰打草稿”西域地质地貌与中国山水画南北两宗描绘的对象截然不同，在这里游山玩水的大陆意识变成了探险意识，创研的过程本身具有探险性，传统技法无法套用，更无艺术潮流可赶。要敢于独往独来，只有一骑艰难独行，看着周先生的一幅幅西域山水画就是这一路走来的见证。同时水墨创新的前提一定不能割裂传统，中国画的传统本身包括西域历朝历代的贡献、敦煌石窟就位于西域若干州的瓜州。 周光辉作品 "I ride all over the north and south of Tianshan Mountain and write about the mountains and rivers in the western regions alone." Chinese landscape painting is especially valued for its greatness, great insight, great benevolence, great wisdom, great truth, great reality, great joy, great sorrow, great movement, great tranquility, great simplicity, great unity and great harmony. "Big" is the most suitable for the vast western regions. The contribution of western region landscape painting to Chinese landscape painting is that the space has changed to the limit. A variety of natural fields have presented various illusion pictures of being close to the world. Mr. Zhou must be a master in creating landscapes. "Search all the strange peaks and draft" western region geology and geomorphology are completely different from the objects depicted in the northern and Southern Dynasties of Chinese landscape painting. Here, the continental consciousness of touring mountains and waters has become the consciousness of exploration. The process of creation and research itself is adventurous, traditional techniques can not be applied, and there is no artistic trend to catch up with.
