8);">传，东汉末年，文帝曹丕对刘姓皇族进行杀戮，一支刘姓族人逃至威海，作为早期居民，他们到刘公岛周围打鱼，发现岛上景色优美，遂在此安家，开垦农田，成就家业，早年间称之为“刘氏别业”。</b></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="color:rgb(1, 1, 1);">后来每当海上风起浪涌，人们都会看到有位老人手持火把，或堆篝火为渔民引航，不知曾搭救多少遇险的渔民，于是后人把两位老人尊为"海圣刘公刘母"，而这座小岛又因此得名"刘公岛"</b></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="color:rgb(1, 1, 1);">据说岛上有重新落成的刘公刘母塑像，遗憾没有亲眼见到，上图是网上搜来的老像</b></p> <p 1);">李鸿章北洋水师装备的德制克虏伯大炮，据说重量是80吨。</b></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="color:rgb(1, 1, 1);">在岛上，北洋海军24厘米和12厘米口径平射炮各2门，7.5厘米口径行营炮各6门，速射炮4门，炮火可及刘公岛东海面及南北两口，主要与日岛，南邦炮台封锁南口，在刘公岛保卫战中发挥重要作用。</b></p> <p 1);">1895年2月17日上午8时30，日本联合舰队，鱼贯自北口进入，徐徐驶入威海港，10时30分，北洋海军10舰，都降下中国旗，而换上日本旗，刘公岛炮台也升起了日本旗。曾经一度威震远东的清朝北洋舰队，自此全军覆没。</b></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="color:rgb(1, 1, 1);">悲壮的历史，悲壮的水师！</b></p> <p
