In the series of paintings by Mr. Ligang, in the process of keeping the integrity and innovation, he has no intention to convey to us a new art form and the artist's in-depth thinking on art works. 李刚（一禅）雕塑家书法家（世界知识画报封面） 李刚（一禅）li gang，1959年出生于新疆，一个普通的铁路家庭。1985年进入中央美术学院油画高级研修班学习油画专业进行深造。在油画专业曾经受教先生有苏高礼、罗尔纯、朱乃正、文国章等教授的指教。随后1993在中央美术学院雕塑系学习雕塑。在雕塑方面曾受钱绍武、曹春生、司徒兆光、孙家钵、董祖诒等雕塑大家们的教授与指导。1995年又在中央美术学院由俄罗斯雕塑家库巴索夫主讲的高级研究班学习。就在中央美术学院学业结束后，再次踏上去往那片遥远而神秘的土地新疆。正因他眷恋这片土地，热爱这片土地。从1996年开始在新疆艺术学院任教，先后李刚为新疆雕塑培养了第一批雕塑本科生。同时多次举个人雕塑作品展，《李刚现代雕塑作品展》，《雅丹风情雕塑展》，《中国水墨展》并开创了新疆雅丹雕塑风情园。从那时已经开始对欧洲文艺复兴时期的艺术和西方其他国家的现代雕塑艺术摩拜。中西融汇，相互贯通，然而在个人风格上一直就有自己的追求。李刚雕塑作品中始终贯穿时间的记忆，或者说在大自然中经过很长时间后物体所呈现的一个状态，他是在塑造时间，恰恰特殊的雅丹地貌、卡斯特地貌、胡杨，都是经过数亿年地球变化，数年的风蚀，也正是新疆特殊的地域文化成就了李刚的雕塑艺术，如果从这个文化背景纬度解读李刚的雕塑作品就不难看出雕塑作品特有风格。2009年，李刚夫妇举家迁居北京之后，其艺术创作发生了极大变化。初到北京，人地两生，喧器的世态，极易使人浮躁。经过一段时间的沉思，适应，李刚进人了新的创作兴奋期。 Li Gang (Yichan), born in 1959 in Xinjiang, is an ordinary railway family. Since then, he has begun to worship the art of the European Renaissance and the modern sculpture art of other western countries. China and the West converge and connect with each other. However, in terms of personal style, they have always had their own pursuit. Li Gang's sculpture works are always full of memories of time, or a state of objects in nature after a long time. He is shaping time. Precisely the special Yadan landform, kast landform and Populus euphratica are all through hundreds of millions of years of Earth changes and years of wind erosion.
