The Quito airport is approximately an hour drive from the city. 基多是厄瓜多尔的首都,离赤道仅24公里。是世界上距赤道最近的首都。海拔高度2852米,是世界第二高首都。</p> <p class="ql-block">DAY 2, Saturday - Quito City Tour & Visit to the Middle of the World</p><p class="ql-block">The morning's tour begins with a visit to the colonial section of Quito to walk along the narrow cobblestone streets and feel the charm of 16th-century Quito. See the Independence Plaza, the Cathedral, Presidential Palace, and the Archbishop's Palace before visiting La Compañia de Jesus Church, with its beautiful gilded interior or the Church and Monastery of San Francisco, one of the great religious buildings of the New World with its impressive facade and atrium. Afterward, visit the Middle of the World Monument, located at a latitude of 0o, and stand with one foot in the Northern and one in the Southern Hemisphere. This afternoon, transfer by bus to Otavalo. Here, enjoy the lively market atmosphere and browse the various stalls for traditional goods such as handwoven cloth and rugs, jewelry and more. This afternoon, transfer to Papallacta located in the Andes Mountains. Enjoy the serene tranquility that the lodge has to offer and prepare to be amazed by both the wildlife and the culture inherent to the Amazon. The Amazon rainforest is the world's largest ecosystem, so be sure to keep an eye out for the innumerable species of tropical plants and insects. Enjoy the views as you cross suspended bridges and fly through the jungle on a short zip line basket ride. At the end of the hike, take a rafting trip on a traditional balsa log raft*. Stop along the way to visit the powerful El Pailon del Diablo or "The Devil's Cauldron"*, one of Ecuador's most beautiful waterfalls. Drive to Baños, an idyllic little town known for its hot thermal baths and the sometimes steamy Tungurahua Volcano. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Although roses are not native to Ecuador, the country has a perfect environment for rose cultivation and is presently one of the world's major producers. On the plantation, you'll learn more about the farming process, from planting to exporting. After lunch, continue to the hotel in Quito for this evening's "Farewell to Ecuador" dinner with your group</p><p class="ql-block">Overnight: Hilton Colon Quito, Quito</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">玫瑰农场的大棚内种了各种玫瑰。厄瓜多尔并不是玫瑰的原产地,但赤道的气候非常适合玫瑰的生长。现在的厄瓜多尔是主要的玫瑰出口国,远销世界各地,包括欧州,北美洲和亚洲。</p> <p class="ql-block">中午在一农场午餐,亲密接触驼羊。</p> <p class="ql-block">回到Quito,晚上的散伙饭</p> <p class="ql-block">旅行团大合影</p> <p class="ql-block">DAY 8, Friday - Depart Ecuador</p><p class="ql-block">白天继续逛了Quito 老城区,傍晚上了飞机✈️离开厄瓜多尔奔赴巴拿马城</p> <p class="ql-block">DAY 9, Saturday - Panama City</p><p class="ql-block">参加了巴拿马一日游</p> <p class="ql-block">巴拿马海岸线</p> <p class="ql-block">和巴拿马导游合影</p> <p class="ql-block">造访猴子岛</p> <p class="ql-block">在Agua Clara Locks Visitor Center看巴拿马运河</p> <p class="ql-block">巴拿马运河是在大西洋和太平洋之间开凿的一条运河,它比两洋高26米,有三级船闸。我们观看了一艘液化天然气船过运河的过程。以前没有巴拿巴运河,从大西洋到太平洋船要多走23天。现在的巴拿马运河每天上午四十条船从大西洋到太平洋,下午四十条船从太平洋到大西洋,一天收入约850万美元。</p> <p class="ql-block">Explore San Lorenzo National Park and Fort San Lorenzo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.</p> <p class="ql-block">Day 10, Sunday. 巴拿马城老城游览。老城区保留着很多浓郁西班牙风情的殖民时期建筑,色彩魔幻斑斓。</p> <p class="ql-block">巴拿马老城巷照</p> <p class="ql-block">这次是我们第一次到中美州游玩,第一次跟团旅游,虽然中间出了很多小插曲,还算玩得开心。厄瓜多尔正在大力发展旅游业,盖了很多度假村来吸引游客,吃的好,住的舒服。当地物产便宜,人工也便宜。厄瓜多尔经济还不是很发达,跟八九十年代的中国差不多。农村还是很穷,有很多未完成的破房子。土著人用茅草做屋顶,竹子做墙,用果壳做碗,树叶做盘子。</p><p class="ql-block">本来以为厄瓜多尔首都基多在赤道上,应该很热。事实是由于海拔高,长年气温在摄氏25度之下,早晚只有摄氏10度。厄瓜多尔的中部有一条南北走向的山脉,属于安弟斯山脉,一共有六座火山分布在这条山脉上。整个行程就是旅游大巴不停地在盘山公路上行驶,看到很多火山和瀑布。</p><p class="ql-block">厄瓜多尔曾经被西班牙殖民了300年,留下了许多殖民时期的建筑和教堂,这里人80%信奉天主教。西班牙语是他们的官方语言,大部分人不会讲英语。我们在那里很多时候就是鸡同鸭讲的感觉。</p>
