We held the English competition. The theme was “Everyone says English Everyone in English”.</span></p><p class="ql-block"> 清明已过三春候,谷雨初晴四月天。</p><p class="ql-block"> 为了丰富校园文化生活,激发学生对于英语学习的热情,营造良好的英语文化氛围,让每个孩子发现自己身上的闪光点和学习英语的潜力,同时体现学校的英语特长和特色,在学校精心部署下,响应“双减”,我们迎来了第一届英语素养大赛。此次大赛的主题是:英为有你,与众不同。</p> <p class="ql-block">The children showed the knowledge they have learned on stage through various forms. They have made brilliant performance in the competition. The students have been insisted on their training more than a month. All the students demonstrated the new-era spiritual outlook that teenagers have.</p> <p class="ql-block">  经过月余的用心编排,18个班级联袂为观众带来一场盛大的视听饕餮。表演时队列有序,异彩纷呈,比赛现场座无虚席,彰显了车西学子昂扬向上、风华正茂的青春风采。</p> <p class="ql-block">As Samuel Johnson said,Language is the dress of thoughts. The importance of knowledge is not limited to a broad vision, but also the sublimation of thoughts.</p><p class="ql-block"> 英国作家塞缪尔·约翰逊曾说:语言是思想的外衣。此次大赛的举办不限于视野开阔,技能增长之后的心溢欢欣,更是思想升华的酣畅淋漓。</p> <p class="ql-block">These groups of children are innocent, intelligent and lively. They are brilliant at doing everything such as inquiring and learning, singing and dancing, and acting. </p> <p class="ql-block">  初学英语三四年级的孩子们聪慧活泼。总角小儿,言笑晏晏。稚子童声,天真灵动。</p> <p class="ql-block">They presented <i>Little Red Riding Hood、Pulling out the carrot and A happy day</i>,which won unanimous praise from the audience!</p><p class="ql-block"> 百年经典《小红帽》、童趣盎然《拔萝卜》、深挖课本《开心的一天》,获得了在场嘉宾的一致好评。孩子们展示了表演才华,锻炼了口语表达能力,更在轻松愉快的活动中找到自信!</p><p class="ql-block">Through mask-making, they have learned the physicality of their individual unique stock characters.They also expressed their desire for a better world in abstract form through acting!</p><p class="ql-block"> 孩子们亲手绘制头饰,栩栩如生,巧夺天工。融入了自身对角色的理解,同时描绘的是对于美好的向往。</p> <p class="ql-block">She showed the courage of facing dangerous and build a castle of letters in an imaginary kingdom. </p><p class="ql-block"> 童年里有童话,在虚构的王国里建筑语言的城堡。</p> <p class="ql-block">Many teams chose to sing. They performed classic songs with their sounds of nature, which stirred up ripples in the heart. </p><p class="ql-block"> 英文歌曲,众人首选。天籁之音演绎经典,激起观众心中涟漪。</p> <p class="ql-block">Holding the musical instruments, the 6 kids from Grade 6 sang with laughter in the performance, which best displayed the folk rhyme charm vividly. How cute they are! </p><p class="ql-block"> 标准的发音,堪称原音重现!纯净清亮的声线配合技法娴熟的弹奏,两者宛如浑然天成,余音绕梁,不绝于耳。</p> <p class="ql-block">26 students stand out from numerous competitors.Students enhance their physical fitness, perfect their personalities, and temper their will, showing the most beautiful appearance of youth!</p><p class="ql-block"> 26个孩子代表26个字母,整齐划一的动作,唱跳配合,节奏欢快,夺人眼球。同学们增强了体质、锤炼了意志,呈现出青春最美的模样!</p> <p class="ql-block">Twelve students from Class4 Grade 6 stood out in the competition for speech under the theme of "Build a community with a shared future for mankind". They expressed their own experiences and thoughts, and their words were full of enthusiasm and wisdom.They expressed their understanding with their knowledge. Meanwhile, they pondered carefully how to best transmit Chairman Xi’ ideas to The Times and incorporate them into their own. The magnificent is vividly presented.</p><p class="ql-block"> 六四班演讲结合时政,与时偕行。就习主席的“人类命运共同体”观点,结合自身对战争、环境污染的理解和思考进行了个性化的表达。孩子们个个发音标准,气宇轩昂。言语间,少年人的热忱与睿智蓬勃而生。恰同学少年,风华正茂;书生意气,挥斥方遒。</p> <p class="ql-block">Martin Luther King once gave the speech of I have a dream in 1963. He said :“People are great because of their dreams and steadfast because of their dreams .”Now our students tell the Chinese Dream in English .As students in the new era, they must dare to tear down barriers and get across boundaries, use the power of language to enhance international understanding, generate global knowledge through language studies,tell the world’s stories, including China’s moving stories to illuminate the future, sow the seed of dreams.</p><p class="ql-block"> 马丁·路德·金于1963年在华盛顿林肯纪念堂发表著名演讲《我有一个梦想》,他说“人因梦想而伟大,因筑梦而踏实”。而今天,我们的孩子用英语描绘中国梦!还有学生用英语讲中国故事。作为新时代的学生,就是要敢于打破藩篱,摆脱界限束缚,以语言为桥梁和媒介,把中国故事融入世界故事,以语言点亮未来,以话语播种梦想。</p> <p class="ql-block">Students created elaborate hand-drawn posters.
