Garden乐队主唱彼得·弗洛伊登塔勒创作该曲时也正在等待女友的拜访，他午后在德国黑森林北部偶遇了一棵柠檬树后，进发了灵感，正如歌中描述的一样，彼得的女友最终也没有到来[8]</p> <p class="ql-block">歌曲鉴赏</p><p class="ql-block">《Lemon Tree》是一首少有的醒神之作，颇耐人寻味，充满了20世纪六七十年代的音乐感觉，畅快，浓郁，真性情的自然流露，将等人时的焦虑不安及胡思乱想的心情表现得淋漓尽致。合唱、伴唱的运用使其表演色彩浓郁，感染力极强。只是前面几句，就给人一种淡淡的忧伤、无助的失落、浅浅的惆怅，虽然歌曲中的“他”的确是在等待女友，但是随着歌曲旋律缓缓流淌，曲风又渐渐转为轻松、明快，似乎之前的一切灰色调情愫统统烟消云散了，但这又不能不说是乐景衬哀情，他追忆着女孩昨日所描绘的蓝天，记忆虽然甜美，但现实却非如此，面前孤立的柠檬树啊，酸酸楚楚[7]。</p><p
