<p class="ql-block">新加坡赛区亚军陈天音</p> <p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">I am Chen Tian Yin. This year, I celebrate my 60th year and decided to take part in the Singapore Madam Competition.</p><p class="ql-block">I immigrated from Fuzhou, China, about 20 years ago and have since settled into Singapore as a Citizen for XX years. </p><p class="ql-block">Being a Chinese language teacher for more than 20 years, I have nurtured many students and at the same time, developed positive relationships with them. People know me as a warm, affable and optimistic person.</p><p class="ql-block">Since young, I have always enjoyed performing. In recent years, I have also become a foodie and enjoy healthy delicious food. I have also taken an interest in modelling and photography.</p><p class="ql-block">A mother of 2 grown up children, (a handsome son n a compassionate daughter,) I must admit I have also moved on in age. Together with my husband, we are well, ready to enjoy retirement. 😊😊</p><p class="ql-block">5 years ago I was first mesmerized with the beauty of the Chinese Qipao. This led me to found the TianYun Modelling Club to learn modelling and perform in community events with like-minded individuals.</p><p class="ql-block">I also joined the Nanyang Yafeng Qipao Club 3 years ago. Through this platform, we were able to better promote Qipao culture together with individuals who have the same love for the Qipao. It is this very love for Qipao that motivated us to learn more about the Qipao culture, and gave us the confidence to organise a string of performances in the hope of kindling the love for Qipao in others.</p><p class="ql-block">Finally, I would like to thank the President of the Nanyang Yafeng Qipao Association, the President of the Yafeng Tianyun Branch, the Yafeng Council Members, the 2022 Yafeng Spokesperson, and everyone who have supported me. </p><p class="ql-block">I am also grateful for the leadership of President Liang Shu Ling and the hardwork that the organising committee has put in. They were the ones who encouraged me to take part in the World Madam Competition.
