<p class="ql-block">Last Saturday (Nov. 27th) witnessed an exciting English speech contest held by Grade 2 with the intention of enriching students' school life and inspiring their enthusiasm about learning English.</p> <p class="ql-block">Present at the activity were many teachers and students, all of whom made it to the hall, delighted and cheerful. Accompanied by melodious music, the English speech contest kicked off.Two hosts, Wang Xiangyun and Hu Yuhan, anchored the show throughout it. 5 teachers appointed as judges graded each candidate's performance based on grading standards.</p> <p class="ql-block">25 contestants from 19 classes made brilliant speeches followed by the talent shows on the stage, demonstrating their excellent language skills and performing capacity. He spoke highly of the contestants' performance, appealing to the youth to put their beliefs into practice, take on the responsibility and strive to establish a properous and powerful country.</p> <p class="ql-block">Thanks to each participant's hard work, cautious preparation and positive participation, the English Speech Contest of Grade Two has come to an end completely. Unquestionably, it received an immediate and warm welcome in that it is of vital significance for teenagers to participate in such meaningful school activities.</p>
