The road trip driving by EF's students that everyone has been waiting officially get started. The destination: Suizhou millennium ancient ginkgo and Mountain Dahongshan.</p> <p class="ql-block">第1站随州市曾都区洛阳镇。新四军五师司令部旧址。是全国重点文物保护单位。</p><p class="ql-block"> The first stop: Luoyang town, Zengdu District, Suizhou City. The former site of the New Fourth Army's fifth Division headquarters. It is also a key cultural heritage protection site in the country</p> <p class="ql-block">李先念(1909-1992)铜像。湖北省红安县人。原新四军五师师长。曾任中华人民共和国国家主席。Bronze statue of Li Xiannian. He was born in Hong 'an County, Hubei Province. The former commander of the fifth Division of the New Fourth Army. Can not help but make people sigh the greatness of ancient Chinese civilization.</p> <p class="ql-block">随州大洪山景区的洪山禅寺。始建于唐代。据说武汉洪山的宝通禅寺与随州的洪山禅寺息息相关。当年因金兵南侵，为了保护洪山禅寺之宝'佛足'，迁往武昌小红山。所以从建筑构造上有很多相似的感觉。</p><p class="ql-block">Hongshan Zen Temple in Dahongshan Scenic area, Suizhou. It was built in the Tang Dynasty. It is said that The Baotong Temple in Wuchang, Wuhan is closely related to the Hongshan Temple in Suizhou. In order to protect the Buddha foot, the treasure of Hongshan Temple, it was moved to Xiaohongshan Mountain in Wuchang.
