When we put the plugs in the bottom, the vibration of sound in the pipes are different. So it makes different sounds.</p> <p class="ql-block">八、Experiment:Density study</p><p class="ql-block">Materials：</p><p class="ql-block">water，stick，measuring cup，food coloring，plastic cups，dish soap，oil，bottle，honey</p> <p class="ql-block">Steps：</p><p class="ql-block">1、In each cup we have different water.Each cup will have 50 milliliters of something.</p><p class="ql-block">2、Put food coloring in the cup.</p><p class="ql-block">3、Pure all the liquid into the bottle.</p><p class="ql-block">Wait for a while，we'll see a rainbow in the bottle.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">Why do the liquids make layers? </p><p class="ql-block">Some liquids are more dense or heavy, so they will stay on the bottom. The less dense or lighter liquid will float on the top. So we used different colored liquids. So you can easily see the different layers.</p> <p class="ql-block">Meanwhile, we put the octopus into the bottle. When we squeeze the bottle, the water enters the octopus and the density increases. When the density of the octopus is greater than the density of water, the octopus sinks down. </p><p class="ql-block">When we let go, the water runs out of the octopus. When the density of the octopus is less than the density of water, the octopus floats on top of the water.</p> <p class="ql-block">九、Chung Yeung Festival</p><p class="ql-block">M: It's good to take care of the elderly around us.By taking care of them,we are respecting them.</p><p class="ql-block">B: What does "respect" mean?</p><p class="ql-block">M: It means to honor someone,and to treat them in a special way.</p><p class="ql-block">Someone you respect is someone you think is important.We respect the elderly,because they are older than us,have lots of wisdom from living long lives,and they have given so much to us,their children and grandchildren.They have raised the current generation of children and the adults in the workforce.</p> <p class="ql-block">What do you think are some other ways to respect our elders?</p><p class="ql-block">I can give an old man my seat on the bus.Although, he might be a gentleman and say you should keep it.</p><p class="ql-block">You can also help carry their groceries.Since their bodies are sometimes too frail from old age,they can't physically do as much as they used to.</p><p class="ql-block">We also have holidays like Chung Yeung Festival to show our respect to the elderly.</p><p class="ql-block">Even if some elderly are not grandparents,we must also make sure to listen to them and be especially polite when we are around them.We want to make sure the elderly in our community are well taken care of.</p>
