traveling Hathor

Down by the Sally Gardens 有美人兮，宛若清扬。

My love and I did meet 邂于高岗，见之不忘。

She passed the Sally Gardens 彼有佳人，适我所往。

With little snow-white feet 肤若凝脂，落地成霜。

She bid me take love easy 有美人兮，心悦其芳。

As the leaves grow on the tree 不得于兮，郁郁远望。

But I being young and foolish江上兰芷，泽泽未央。

With her did not agree 佳人何在，慰我彷徨。

In a field by the river 淇水汤汤，思之为量。

My love and I did stand 彼有佳人，静立身旁。

And on my leaning shoulder 参差行菜，左右成双

She laid her snow-white hand 彼有佳人，赠我琳琅。

She bid me take life easy 兰芷为佩，杜若允芳

As the grass grows on the weirs 佳期如梦，怎能相忘。

But I was young and foolish 秋风生肃，夜短梦长

And now am full of tears 佳人何在，独我悲伤。
