Tang Yao's reign boomed sans rest

Famed in more states of yore. 

Feng Meng was archer best

But had a strong bow sure.

More lore the King does hold,

An' needs help of heroes great.

Qi King praised mantis bold,

All fought for the Qi State.

Yue king roused a frog , 

The soldiers fought with zest.

Steed's judged thro long-way jog;

The worst time tests the best.

Cover it or coat it,

By rules of the divine.

Soft as south winds that flit,

It falls a drizzle fine.

The mouth's like the shut gate;

Tongue's the bolt for the shot.

Once the gate's ope some date,

Th' shot arrow'll come back not.

Very similar to a toadyish friend,

They rely on sovereigns' power strong，

And the Sire is too pet to blame them long.

It's aslo like coquettish woman fair

Enchanting and attaching her man rare.

Bad she ruins his family happy an' gay. 

So puzzled he can not drive her away.

In memery of the 110th anniversary of Ji Xianlin's birth!

Ji Xianlin (1911-2009) was an internationally renowned master of Orientalism, linguist, writer, Sinologist, Buddhist scholar, historian, educator and social activist. He was a member and director of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and vice president of Peking University. Early years of study abroad, English, German, Sanskrit, Pali, can read Russian, French, especially skilled in tocharovin (is the world's only skilled in this language of several scholars). The study of Buddhism, Buddhism and Tocharian is carried out simultaneously, and the study of Chinese literature, comparative literature and literary theory is carried out simultaneously. In 2006, he was awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award in Translation Culture". Premier Wen congratulated Ji on his selection as the world's poet laureate for his poem Ode to Mount Taishan while ill at the age of 94.

We're in delight.

Plum blossoms aren't whiter than the snow here,

Snowflakes lose to plum blossoms in scent yo!

有梅无雪不精神，

有雪无诗俗了人。

日暮诗成天又雪，

与梅并作十分春。

Plum blossoms aren't spirited with no snow；

Sans poems, the snow'll make men vulgar and low

At dusk the poem's well versed and the snow fell;

Plum blooms an' snowflakes seem to blow in spring well.

将以遗知音。

春愁正断绝，

春鸟复哀吟。

With grass I weaved a true love knot；

Send it to my close friend I ought.

Although in spring gone is my woe，

Spring birds repeat chirps with sad plot.

风花日将老，

佳期犹渺渺。

不结同心人，

空结同心草。

(III)

Like blooms in the wind I'm old day by day;

The wedding date is yet so far away.

If I can't stay along with my lover,

I vainly plaited the true love grass aye!
