<p class="ql-block">The end of our freshman year is stealing to approach; for varying degrees, we’ve all made progress in English learning. Then what feelings and experience can Ida share to us?</p><p class="ql-block">大一的美好时光就要结束,唯一抚慰的就是我们每个人都取得了进步。那在英语听力方面,Ida什么心得体会可以分享给大家呢?</p> <p class="ql-block">Ida always thinks she is a visual learner, which means she prefers reading a lot. However, always leaving aside learning through listening also bring about some hazards. For instance, she cannot catch teachers’ words in class, and the listening class grade always destroy the whole score list.</p><p class="ql-block">Ida是一位视觉型学习者,喜欢通过阅读来学习。但是总将听力学习任务搁置一旁,也给她的学习带来了不少不良后果。比如,她可能会听不懂老师的英文授课;比如,她的听力课成绩会成为整张成绩单的污点。</p><p class="ql-block">Awareness is the first step of making action!</p><p class="ql-block">当意识到问题的时候,行动就开始了!</p><p class="ql-block">&nbsp;</p> <p class="ql-block">Ida tried several things and let’s see.</p><p class="ql-block">1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Learning from teachers and friends.</p><p class="ql-block">At SISU, Ida is seldom picky in who can become her teachers and friends. “There must be something I can learn from each teacher.” Ida always thinks like this. Enlarging the background knowledge scope (western history, politics, business, environment), trying to take notes when listening, perseverance in listening are all useful methods she learned from people around.</p><p class="ql-block">&nbsp;</p> <p class="ql-block">2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Combining speaking with listening</p><p class="ql-block">“Why is the ditch river so clear; for it is constantly supplied by running water.” Knowing that listening and speaking are reciprocal, we cannot easily split the two processes. Combining speaking with listening, you will not only enhance and apply what you’ve listened, but also promote your confidence in communicating skillfully.</p>
