<p class="ql-block">+ A native Calfornian, Terri grew up in the South Bay Area and attended The Academy of Art College in San Francisco. She has been working with pastels since 1987 both in her studio and en plein air. Her emphasis is on the landscape, often including architectural elements...bridges, barns, fences, spires. She travels frequently to paint and teach throughout the US and abroad. Her paintings are primarily representational/impressionism. Some more loosely rendered than others. She has been a frequent award winner at the Carmel Art Festival Plein Air Event. Her works have been published widely in Pastel Journal, Plein Air Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, American Art Collector, Pratique des Artes and others.</p><p class="ql-block"> </p><p class="ql-block">"A single swash of light can inspire me. I feel I have barely scratched the surface of the potential of pastels.
