I can put them three by three, too.
M: Good. Now, we need 10 cherries this time, Mommy wants you to pick them two by two. So, how many times do you need to have those 10 cherries in this plate?
A: Let me see, two by two, two, four, six, eight, ten. I need five times.
M: Great. Still for 10 cherries, if you pick them five by five, how many times do you need?
A: That is easy, 2 times.
M: Fantastic. If we need 12 cherries, you pick them four by four. How many times then?
A: Three times.
M: Very good, Alvin. You need three times to carry twelve cherries from this plate to that one.

M: Alvin, I have an idea. Maybe we can ask your Daddy to eat those cherries one by one.
A: Ok. I think he can eat two by two.
D: Yes, two by two is just a piece of cake.
A: How about three by three?
M: Have a try, Victor.
D: Oh, it is not easy, but I can do.
A: Can you eat them five by five, Daddy.
D: No, too many. However, Alvin can read it flutely and understand the main ideas after several practices.
Retell: Peppy Pig

Chapter One: Muddy Puddel

This was the first time for Alvin to retell "Peppy Pig". We started from Chapter one "Muddy Puddel", That was a very intresting story which hed in Peppy's family. They all like jumppig muddy pudde. There were many muddy puddels in their garden, especially after raining. Peppy liked to look after George, when she found big muddy puddel, she checked the safety for George first. They had a big mess after jumping muddy puddel, but they felt happy.

When Daddy pig helped them to clean their body, they invited Daddy pig and Mommy pig to jump in the muddy puddel together. That happy family enjoyed their every moment together.

Alvin did a very great job on his story retelling. I was so proud of him, his tone, his words organization, character acting etc. He also can descried the story with his own brief words clearly, which left a deep impression to us. Keep moving, Alvin. We do believe you may have a big achievement in English learning in the next two years.

Phonics-Little teacher
