In English we can travel around the world. With the language of English, we can know different countries all over the world, know the people at the end of the earth, what are they like, what are they thinking about and discussing? 　　“栽下梧桐树，引得凤凰来”。海口华南实验学校办学六年来，特别重视孩子综合素质的培养。在重视中华传统文化教育的同时，也十分重视学生英语口语表达能力的培养。学生英语考试成绩逐年攀升，良好的口碑吸引了不少优秀的学子，其中不乏英语口语才秀。为了展现他们的风采，为了营造孩子们学习英语的氛围、激发孩子学习英语浓厚的兴趣，学校于11月间举行了“希望杯″英语口语初赛，复赛。经过重重筛选，最后有16位同学进入了决赛。 12月3日清晨，冬阳暖照，风清气爽。海口华南实验学校1200多名师生云集在操场，静候决赛帷幕的开启。 "Plant the sycamore tree and bring the phoenix ". In order to show their demeanor, to create an atmosphere for children to learn English and to stimulate their strong interest in learning English, the school held the "Cup of Hope" oral English preliminary competition in November. After a lot of screening ,16 luckier finally entered the final. Early in the morning of December 3, the winter sun is warm and refreshing. He is good at every subject. And his favorite subject is English. The title of his speech is“My Great Country ”. 　　14号选手马静仪,她演讲的题目是《我最喜爱的运动》。 No. 14马静仪. She is a lovely girl from Grade 8. She does sports well and after school she often plays badminton with her friend. Now she can’t wait to make her speech “My Favorite Sport” in English! 　　15号选手王佳怡,她的演讲题目是《我最喜爱的动物》。 No. 15王佳怡. She is a quiet and kind girl.She loves animals so much that she always takes good care of little animals. Now she is making an English speech on the stage. Her title is“My Favorite animal ”. 　　16号选手吴增仪,她演讲的题目是《我最喜欢的旅游胜地--我的家乡海南》。 No. 16吴增仪.The last one is Wu Zengyi. She’s studying in Class 1,Grade 9. She loves learning English. She enjoys traveling and watching English movies.
