<p> 卢立元先生（Lee Rue）1987年毕业于无锡轻工业学院（现江南大学）工业设计系，后留学美国，1998年获旧金山艺术大学室内建筑设计专业硕士学位。卢先生从小受父亲卢英芬教授的熏陶和伯父卢是 教授（南师大著名画家, 张大千同事, 吴冠中同学) 影响, 具有坚实的绘画基础。</p><p> 卢立元先生的画融合了西方油画的浪漫与写实，光线与色彩以及东方中华艺术的写意和笔触。 </p><p> 他画的西部牛仔与马充满着美国西部的狂野，激情与浪漫。目前他是美国油画家协会和印象派画家协会正式会员。</p><p> 即使在2020年美国疫情非常严重的形势下，他的充满生活气息和热情的油画仍然在美国各地巡回展出。</p><p> Mr. Lee rue graduated from the industrial design department of Wuxi Institute of light industry (now Jiangnan University) in 1987, and then studied in the United States. In 1998, he obtained a master's degree in interior architectural design from San Francisco University of art. Mr. Lu was influenced by his father, Professor Lu Yingfen, and his uncle, Professor Lu Shi (a famous painter of Nanjing Normal University, a colleague of Zhang Daqian, and a classmate of Wu Guanzhong), and had a solid foundation of painting.</p><p>Mr. Lu Liyuan's paintings combine the romance and realism of Western oil painting, light and color, and the freehand brushwork of Oriental Chinese art.</p><p>His paintings of cowboys and horses are full of wild, passionate and romantic western America.
