👉有两个问题请同学们注意:

A) photograph = photo，在日常口语中，我们用的更多的是photo；

B) 请注意字母组合[ph]的发音:[f],

请看另一个单词的发音: phone[fəun]n.电话

1. This is a photograph of our village.

2. Our village is in a valley.

第35课的课文分析

一. 请看第1句:

This is a photograph of our village.   这是我们村庄的一张照片。

👉以上这个句子含有一个新的知识点:

名词所有格的“of结构”，有关这个新知识点的讲解，请关注本课的语法。

二. 请看第4句:

The village is on a river.

它靠近一条小河。

👉这句话中的介词on 不表示“在…上”，而是“邻近”“靠近”的意思。

请看其他例句:

Their house is on the road.   他们家的房子在公路边。

三. 请看第5句:

Here is another photograph of the

village. 这是我们村庄的另一张照片。

👉 请注意， another 表示的是三者或三者以上的其中之一，如果要想表达两者中的 “另一个”该怎么说呢?

请看以下词组和例句:

* the other  另一个

* One of my friends is a doctor，and the other is a teacher.   我的一位朋友是医生，另一位是老师。

四. My wife and I are walking along the banks of the river.   我和妻子沿河岸走着。

👉与中文的表达方式不同的是，在英语里“我和妻子”的表达是“my wife and I”，所以 “我和我的父母亲”应该这样说: “my father, mother and I” 。

👉请同学们特别注意，当我们要表达“我和…时”，要把“I”放在别人的后面。

五. It is beside a park.   它在公园的旁边。

👉同学们是否还记得，在我们学过的指路用语里有一个句子:

* It's next to the bank.  

它在银行的旁边。

👉显然，beside 和 next to 意思相同，只是两种不同的表达而已。

六. Some children are coming out of the building. 一些孩子正从楼里出来。

👉请注意“out of”表示“出来”，它和“into”的意思正好相反。

七. 请看课文最后一个句子:

Some of them are going into the park.   他们中的几个正走进公园。

👉 some of them 表示的是 “他们中的一些”，请同学们回答: “我们中的一些”应该怎么表达？

本课课文的学习内容仍然是现在进行时，大家是否发现，本课课文中介词短语特别多? 课文开头的第2.3.4句就以三个介词短语描述了我们的村庄，这三个介词短语分别是: 

in a valley

between two hills

on a river

👉请同学们阅读课文，并且回答: 在课文中，你还发现了哪几个“跟在动词后面的”介词短语?

介词，又可以称为前置词，它的简写是:

prep. 它往往与其他词组组合，构成介词短语，表达某一个意思。

第35课的语法讲解

一. 名词所有格的表现形式:

第1种形式一一请大家看下图中蓝框内的部分，这是我们在最初学习英语时就学过的“所有格形容词”。

👉 这些单词用来表达:我的/你的/他的/她的它的/我们的/你们的/他们的等等。

第2种形式一一早在第11课时，我们就学习了一种表示“谁，谁，谁”的形式一一 's。比如:

Lucy's friend   露西的朋友 ；

my son's book   我儿子的书；

the driver's watch   司机的手表，等等。

大家是否发现， 's 左边的名词都是“人或有生命的物体”?

👉这说明名词所有格的 's 表现形式必须满足一个条件:

's只适用于具有生命的物体。

第3种形式一一第35课我们新学到的表达形式: “of结构”。

请看课文中的句子:

A) This is a photograph of our village. 这是我们村庄的一张照片。

请大家注意，“我们村庄的一张照片”在英语句子里是先出现 “一张照片”然后才是“我们村庄的”。

B) My wife and I are walking along the banks of the river.   我和妻子沿河岸走着。

同样的，“河岸”在英语里是先出现“岸”再出现“河”的。

按照这个句型的排列规律，我们来做一个中译英小练习:

这是我们学校的一张照片:

This is a photo of our school.  

请大家观察一下第3种表达属于“谁”的句子，大家是否发现，介词“of”两边的物体都是

“无生命的物体”？ 

👉总结一下，用“of”来表达名词的所有格，这些名词必须是 “没有生命”的。

1) 那只狗的名字

2) 那本书的颜色

4) 那位男士的妻子

👉 请注意 boss's['bɔsiz]的发音。

1. Where is the man going?

那个人正去哪里？

He is going into the shop.

他正走入商店。

2. Where is the woman going?    那位女士正去哪里？

She is going out of the house.   她正要出门。

3. Where are they walking?

他们正走在哪里?

They are walking across the street.  他们正穿过街道。

4. Where is the man walking?   那个人正走在哪里?

He is walking between two policemen.   他正走在两个警察中间。

5. Where are they sitting?

他们坐在那里?

They are sitting on the grass.    他们正坐在草地上。

6. Where is the plane flying?     飞机在哪里飞行?

It is flying over the bridge.

它正从桥上飞过。

7. Where is the ship going?

船在哪里行驶?

It is going under the bridge.   它正从桥下驶过。

8. Where are they reading?
