前些日子带孩子去广东探亲，正好做一下关于飞机旅行的FT，我提前把相关的对话都打印出来了，但是孩子过于兴奋，很多时候都不可控，但我也是抓住机会跟他说英语了。本来我都是准备的对话形式，最近看指导师分享一个家长用孩子口吻写的FT，觉得这个形式特别好，确实可以为孩子以后写作提供素材。但是我在修改过程中，发现时态总是混乱，需要重点去学习一下才行。

• (一) Pack Up Luggage收拾行李

I am going to visit my grandparents with my parents tomorrow. We will take a plane from Beijing to Zhanjiang, and then my uncle will drive us back to Maoming.
It's fun to go to visit my grandparents, and we will stay there for a week. We are going to attending your uncle's wedding, going to the seaside, watching the turtles, feeding kittens, feeding chickens, planting vegetables and so on.

I am excited and happy now, I think my grandparents, uncles and aunts will be very happy to see us, too. But now I should calm down and help my mother to pack up. First and the most important, we need to prepare the necessary certificates, my parents' ID card, and my account book.

Then we need to pack up luggage. We need to pack clothes, toys, books and some daily necessities, such as my toothpaste, toothbrushes, my mother's skin care products, my father's razor and so on. My mother took out a big black suitcase, which is big enough to put me in. My mother has packed the clothes into small bags, I just need to put them in the suitcase one by one and put them in order.

What toys should I bring? My mother said I can't take too much toys, and my uncle has bought me a super Altman. So I don't bring any toy, but I pack ten graded books and some smaller books. Because I should keep reading during the time.

All right, the luggage is packed. Now it's time to go bed. I should have a good rest tonight, because we're going to fly for hours tomorrow. And I promised that I can't cry and be obedient when I fly.

• (二) Getting Ready 登机准备

Our plane took off at 13:15, but we arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport at 11:00. Dad drove to the airport and grandma drove home. Because it's during the epidemic period, the security check will be very strict, so we'd better go to the airport in advance. We are on an internal flight, we should get our certificates ready.

First, we need to pick up our boarding passes and check-in our luggage. Where is our airline counter? Look, this is departure information screen. We can look for our flight number on the departure information screen and it will show us which counters to go to.

When we get to the counter, just tell the airline staff our names and give them our certificates. They will print our boarding passes and help us check-in our luggage.

• (三) At the Counter (Speaking to Staff) 在柜台（与工作人员交谈）

There are two ways to check in, self check-in and manual check-in. Because I am a child, I have to check in manually. My mother gave the ID to the counter staff and spoke to her:"I'd like to check in our luggage please, and we want to adjust our seats. We want to sit together and preferably the front seat." The staff finished the work very quickly and then the conveyor belt took our luggage away, and my mother told me that the luggage would be transported to the plane and fly with us.

• (四) Going through Security Screening 通过安检

After check in, we took our certificates, boarding passes and carry-on luggage and head to security screening. Because I am a child, so the security staff let me take the green barrier free channel with my parents, there are fewer people here. We line up and wait for our turn. The security staff will check our boarding passes to our IDs.

Then we need to place our belongings and carry-on luggage in bins and have them scanned by the X-ray machine. We need to put liquids and electronic devices in separate and individual bins.

The last step was a physical examination. The security staff asked me to walk to him by myself, stand before him, and extend my hand. Then he began to check my body from head to foot , and then he asked me to turn around and check again.

After the security check, I wanted to sit in my cart, but my parents were busy putting things back in our bags. They told me to wait for a while, but I refused, and began to cry and cry. I made my parents angry, what a naughty boy!

• (五) Finding the Boarding Gate 找登机口

I was sitting in the children's cart, my mother pushed me, my father took the luggage, we went to our boarding gate together. Check our boarding passes for the terminal and the gate number. Follow the signs and we will be directed to the area.

Look, the autowalk. I immediately got out of the cart and went onto the autowalk. I walk and sing, walking, walking, squat down. Wow, it's so interesting.

知识补充：
1.Elevator 或者叫Lift。垂直升降电梯。
2.Escalator。自动扶梯,就是商场里30度或者35度的有台阶的那种。
3.Autowalk。自动人行道,就是由踏板组成的那种。通常在大卖场里出现。角度比较小。另外就是在机场用的180度的。

• (六) Wait for a Flight候机

Now the check-in time was not up. Let's wait in the departure lounge. Remember to pay close attention to the flight announcements and don't miss the boarding time.

During the waiting period, I watched the plane with my parents. Look, there are a lot of planes parked at the airport. These are all civil aircraft. They are very big and can carry more than 100 passengers. Look, that plane was taxiing back and forth on the runway. It was ready to take off. The airplane looks like a big bird. It can fly very high.

After that, my mother took me to the airport children's Park to play. There is a car, a big turtle, a butterfly and a bridge. I like the big turtle best, but when I was climbing, I fell down by accident, and I cried with pain. And then my mother took me back to the waiting area, let me eat some blueberries and read a book about air travel for me. It's very meaningful to talk about air travel in the airport.

• (七) Boarding the Plane 登机

Wow, it's boarding time. I was excited, we were finally on the plane. To be honest, waiting was really boring.

We should get our boarding passes and passports ready. The flight attendant sat the boarding gate will check them before they let us board the plane. When I got into the plane, the aircraft captain said hello to me, and asked how old am I.

I followed my parents, they were finding our row number and seat... Here we were! Daddy put our carry-on luggage in the overhead compartments and stow my handbag under the seat in front of us.

My mother got me settled in my seat, buckled up and fastened my seat belt. My mother told me that I can't scream or move around. My seat was by the and has a good view.

• (八) During the Flight 飞行中

Wow, the plane was climbing up. My mother gave a gummy bear when the plane was climbing up. You can try to swallow or yawn so that your ears won't feel uncomfortable.

We were high up above the clouds now. Looked out the . We were flying high in the sky! Everything was small. You see, those tall buildings looked like little boxes, those cars looked like ladybugs, and those people looked like ants.

During the flight, the flight attendant offered drinks and snacks for us. Just tell her what I want and she will serve it to me. There are bathrooms on both sides of the aisle. Feel free to tell mommy if I need to use the bathroom, and my mother will go with me.

I can occupy myself by watching cartoons or playing video games. Or I can try to nap. The trip will be over very soon. But I were not sleepy, I just want to go for a walk up and down the aisle so that we can look around the plane.

In fact, I felt cranky, it was more boring on the plane than waiting. Although we can eat snacks and watch cartoons, I still want to get off the plane quickly.

• (九) Landing 降落

After three and a half hours of flight, the plane will be landing in half an hour and the washrooms will be closed soon. You'd better use it now if you need to. The plane is descending. Remain seated with your seat belt fastened. Don't move around.

We were back on the ground. Don't unbuckle your seat belt until the plane comes to a complete stop. Daddy will take our luggage out of the overhead compartment. Let's wait in line to get off the plane. Be patient and don't push.

• (十) Claiming Luggage 取行李

We were taking a shuttle bus to the arrival terminal. Before we can leave, we have to claim our checked-in luggage. The luggage of our flight will be distributed at No. 2 luggage carousel. Look at what's on the carousel? Those are our suitcases. Daddy took them off the carousel. Meanwhile, let's find a cart to put them on.

Look, my aunt was waiting for us. I just met and I was a little nervous and shy. But I am looking forward to my grandpa's grandmother's home.
