The Empty Room空空的房间

Clara likes to go and stay with Nan.

克莱拉喜欢和楠住在一起。

She lives in a big, old house with lots of stairs.

她住在一栋又大又旧的房子里，有很多的楼梯。

There is an empty room on the top floor.

顶层有一个空房间。

Nan gets a key. The room is dark and cold.

There is a big doll's house in the corner,

楠拿到钥匙了。房间又黑又冷。

角落里有一间比格娃娃屋。

“Why don't you clean it?“ says Nan. "It is very dirty."

"你为什么不把它打扫干净？"南说，"很脏。"

Clara moves all the things out of the house.

She washes them and puts them back.

克拉拉把所有的东西都搬走了.

她把它们洗了，然后放回去。

The next day Clara goes back to the room. But some of the things have been moved.

克莱拉回到房间，但有些东西被移走了。

"I put the photo by the clock, "she says." Now it is beside the chair!"

Clara asks Nan if she has moved the things in the doll's house.

But Nan has not been in the room.“I gave you the key, " she says.

Clara puts all the things back.

But the next day, more things have been moved.

The little bottle was on the table. Now it is behind the cupboard.

Perhaps Grandad is playing a trick on her.

But Grandad is busy in the garden.

Clara goes back to the room.

She puts everything back in the right place,

克莱拉回房间去了。

她把一切都放回了正确的地方。

The next day Clara goes to the room again. There is a mess everywhere!

第二天，克莱拉又去了房间。到处都是乱七八糟的东西！

Suddenly one of the dolls moves. Clara jumps. “Nan!" she criles.

突然其中一个娃娃动了克莱拉跳了起来。“楠！”她说。

Nan runs up the stairs. She sees the doll move too.

南跑上楼梯。她也看到娃娃在动。

Nan lifts the doll's skirt. Clara laughs.

There is a little mouse living in the house.

楠提起洋娃娃的裙子。克莱拉笑了。

房子里有一只小老鼠。
