这是一封来自十年后的信件——This is a letter from ten years into the future，假如，武汉也有快进键……If Wuhan had a fast forward ……Hi 现在是2030年It’s 2030又是一个早春三月Another early spring此刻，窗外晨光初露At this moment, rays of morning light are shining through the 早樱已缀上枝头，远望如雪Cherry blossoms look like snow正如十年前大家常说的那样As everyone said ten years ago没有一个冬天不可逾越There is no insurmountable winter又一个春天，如约而至Another spring has come as expected 这十年来In the past ten years时常回望那段武汉被按下暂停键的日子I often look back at the days when Wuhan’s pause was pressed一段让人忽然长大的日子Days when we suddenly grew up我记得那些逝去的生命I remember those lost lives那些深夜里无声的哭泣And the silent sobbing on late nights 在那个冬天In that winter我一下子懂得It dawned on me原来，人会如此脆弱That human beings can be so fragile原来，失去可以来得这么急That losses can happen so fast我也记得那些英雄的背I also remember the backs of those heroes逆着人流的方向行进Going against the human flow匆忙，却坚毅Hurriedly, but with resolution 但那段日子我才发现I realized in those days英雄与浪漫无关That heroes have nothing to do with romance他们只是在被需要的时候站了出来，走向前去They just step forward when needed我更记得那段日子I remember better the footprints those days have left在历史长河中留下的印记On the long history of humankind一场危机到来When a crisis comes既有“山川异域，风月同天”的情谊There is not only friendship that transcends borders也曾有歧视与冷漠的伤害But also harm caused by discrimination and apathy但没关系But it doesn’t matter有一点已被时间证明One thing has been proven by time中国的牺牲、努力和贡献China’s sacrifices, efforts and contributions护卫了家园 Protected its homeland也为世界赢得了经验And gained experience for the world 人，真的可以在一夜之间长大A person can really grow up overnight生与死Life and death苦与乐Bitterness and happiness求真敬畏Truth and awe责任坚守Responsibility and persistence奋斗希望Struggle and hope这些好像很遥远的词These seemingly distant words都在那段日子变得无比真切清晰Became indescribably real and clear in those days. 后来的十年里In the next ten years我走过许多地方I’ve traveled to many places为了不负成长不负期望In order to grow and to live up to expectations世界也在前行朝着更好的方向The world is also advancing, in a better direction敬畏自然尊重生命With awe for nature and respect for life医学进步科技昌明Medical science is progressing and technology flourishing这个星球上 On this planet友善变得更多冷漠在减少Friendliness has been growing and apathy declining 因此，今天的我Therefore, today很想对十年前的你说一声谢谢I would like to say “thank you” to the you from ten years ago谢谢你在焦虑与恐惧中没有轻言放弃Thank you for not giving up in anxiety and fear!谢谢你在远离校园时没有让光阴溜走Thank you for not letting your time slip away while being far away from campus! 谢谢你在苦难中始终相信光亮Thank you for always believing in light when facing hardships!更谢谢你从“武汉的孩子”，向着“中国的少年、世界的少年”倔强生长Thank you for having grown strongly from “a child of Wuhan” into “a teen of China” and “a teen of the World”! 有人说Some say 瀑布之所以成为奇观Waterfalls are wonders 是因为它有绝处求生的勇气Because they have the courage to survive a dire situation人生，又何尝不是如此Life is in no way different因此So请你一定一定相信Please, please believe你所经历的一切Everything you have gone through都会变成有意义的生长Will become meaningful growth2020年你所经历的一切，已经融入未来，改变人生的走向Everything you experienced in 2020 has been integrated into the future, and changed the course of life. 十年后，你会变成我In ten years’ time, you will become me你会看到You will see人间山河已恢复模样Mountains and rivers have regained their looks 武汉的春天So has the spring in Wuhan依旧江水团团樱花漫天Where rivers flow and cherries blossom 更重要的是More importantly你已经变得更好You have gotten better这就是我们相信的: 时间的力量This is the power of time we believe in 给每个选择勇敢的你To everyone who chose to be brave －ＥＮＤ－
