He ran up the tail and slide down the tail . 小老鼠开始在狮子身上爬上爬下。他爬上了狮子的尾巴，又从尾巴上滑落下来。 The lion woke up angrily with a loud roar . 狮子醒了过来，生气地怒吼着。 He grabbed the mouse with his huge paw . The mouse struggled but could not escape . 他用巨大的爪子抓起了小老鼠。小老鼠挣扎着，但是无法逃脱。 The lion opened his big jaws to swallow him . 狮子张开了他的大嘴想要吃了他。 The mouse was very scared . “Oh , King , I am very scared . Please don't eat me . Forgive me this time . Please let me go . I shall never forget it and maybe one day I can help you . ” 小老鼠非常害怕。“哦，丛林之王，我非常害怕。请不要吃了我。原谅我，请放了我吧。我永远不会忘记的。也许有一天，我能帮到你。” The lion was so amused by the idea of the mouse being able to help him . “You help me ! Ha ! Ha ! You are so small ！" 狮子被老鼠想帮助他的想法逗乐了。"你怎么能帮上我忙！哈！哈！你这么小！" So the lion loosened his paw and let the mouse go .于是狮子松开了他的爪子，让老鼠走了。 “Thank you , King . I will never forget your kindness . ” “谢谢你，狮子大王。我永远不会忘记你的善良。” “You are lucky my friend . I just eaten . Now go but don't mess with me again . Or I will make a meal of you .” “你很幸运，我刚刚吃饱了。现在走吧，不过不要再来烦我。要不然，我还是会把你吃掉的。” A few days later , the lion was roaming the jungle. 几天以后，狮子在丛林中散步。 Hunters set a trap to catch the lion . The hunters hide behind the tree waiting for the lion to approach the trap . 猎人设下了一个陷阱，想抓住狮子。猎人们躲在大树后面等着狮子接近陷阱。 As he did , the hunters pulled the ropes and caught him in the net . The lion started to roar loudly and tried to escape . But hunters fastened the net . 等狮子到了，猎人就拉起绳子，然后用网把他网住。狮子开始大喊大叫并试图逃离。但是猎人们已经收起了网。 They went back to the village to bring a cart to transport the lion . 他们要回到村庄拿一辆车子来运送狮子。 The lion was still roaring loudly . 狮子仍然在大声地喊叫着。 　　All the animals including the mouse heard the roar . 所有的动物包括小老鼠都听到了他的喊叫声。 “The King is in trouble . I must return the favour .” “丛林之王遇上麻烦了。我必须要报答他。” He soon reached the lion . “Don't worry, my King . I will set you free .” 他很快来到狮子的身边。“别担心，丛林之王。我会把你放了的。” He climbed up the trap and used his sharp little teeth to bite through the ropes . 他爬上了陷阱，用他锋利的牙齿咬断了绳子。 Finally he freed the lion from the trap . The lion realized that even a little mouse can be a great help . “Thank you , mouse . I will never trouble you again . Live happily in my forest . You saved the King's life . Now you are the prince of this forest .” 最终，他把狮子从陷阱里救了出来。狮子意识到就算是一只小老鼠也能帮上大忙。“谢谢你，老鼠。我不会再找你的麻烦了。在森林里你快乐地生活吧。你救了丛林之王的命。现在你就是丛林的王子了。” “Thank you , King . Bye . See you soon .” “Ah ? Where are you going ? Don't you want to play on me and slide down my tail ?” “谢谢你，丛林之王。再见。”“啊？你要去哪里？你不想从我的尾巴上滑下去？” The mouse started jumping on his back and sliding down his tail . 老鼠开始跳上他的后背，然后从尾巴上滑下来。 After a while , the hunters came back with a big cart to carry the lion . The lion and the mouse saw them and started running towards them . The lion gave a big roar . 过了一会儿，猎人们带了一辆大卡车回来了，要来运送狮子。狮子和老鼠看到了他们，然后朝他们奔跑过去。狮子大声吼叫着。 The hunters were terrified and ran away back to the village . 猎人们非常害怕，然后逃回了村庄。 The lion and the mouse became good friends forever . 狮子和老鼠成为了永远的好朋友。
