What is Carpenter?

Carpentry is a skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the cutting, shaping and installation of building materials during the construction of buildings, ships, timber bridges, concrete formwork, etc.

拓展1⃣️：Hidden Tools Hardware Store Game

What you need: Tool Shadow Board printables，Tool printables，Glue，Scissors

，Markers

The first method you can play:

1. Place a question mark on the board.
2. Print the Tools printable onto paper and laminate if desired. Cut out tools and place in eight pockets of the "Hardware Store." Print the Tool Shadow Game Boards and laminate if desired.
3. Each player gets a game board. They take turns pulling tools from the mystery pockets on the Hardware Store board.

- If a pocket is empty, the player waits until his/her next turn to try a different pocket.

- If the tool does not match a shadow on a player's board, he/she returns it to any empty pocket on the display board.

- If the tool matches a shadow on the player's board, he/she places it over the shadow.

- The player who fills his/her shadows first wins the game.

Variation: (one or two players)

Let child pull tools from the pocket and match the tool to the shadow cards.

What is difference between nail and screw?

A nail has a smooth straight shaft and a flat head that requires a hammer to pound the nail in. A screw has thread on the shaft and the head has a shape to it so a screwdriver is needed to screw in the screw.
