Although the weather outside is gloomy, there are still things that make people happy. Peer Jeff was accepted by his favorite school CMU! I had planned to visit the school during the spring break. I have been dragging out one school and have not seen it. All schools have canceled the spring visit day because of the epidemic. National isolation is also gone. Today my son said he decided to go to CMU, no need to watch. Jeff is a middle-aged son, so he always thinks he is still very small, this time to go to college, and then look at this 1.87 big tall, I feel a little unreal.

CMU's business school ranks # 5 in the United States and comprehensive university ranks # 25. Mom and Dad are really happy and proud of you!

This is your own hard work. Thank you for your great brothers Aaron, Edward, and tutor Spencer for their great help over the past year, and the care and support of many uncles and aunts.

Jeff, who was born into a music family, was destined to soak in classical music. Learning music is no choice but an inevitable thing. Grandma is a famous composer, grandpa is an oboe player and principal of an art school, uncle is also a well-known composer, and dad is a violinist. Playing small children, he feels that he has such responsibilities and obligations to become the third generation of musicians at home. When he was less than three years old, he played dozens of violin tracks. At the age of five, he began to learn piano. Until now, the violin and piano have not been willing to put down any of them, because he likes it very much.

Many years ago, Tan Dun once heard him play the piano occasionally, and said that the child was very musical, with music in his heart, and liked him very much. He is also a very sensitive and delicate child. All the way to practice piano, class, practice piano, practice piano ... various competitions, awards, music summer camps, master classes, college preparatory courses ... step by step.

I thought he would go on following the truth of music. Because he was indeed talented, he suddenly said a year ago that he didn't want to study music major, wanted to study business, and didn't want to give up music, as an associate or join a band.

This makes us very shocked, because if you do n’t go to a music school, you have to take the SAT and high GPA. Other children have been tutoring from elementary school and junior high school. He is practicing the piano, class, and rehearsal. There is only one left. More than a year is difficult! But he insisted that this was his final choice. If you tried it, you could still have music. If you don't try it, you will only have music ... Of course, Dad is not happy, and I think it is not bad. Anyway, it is his choice and life, both success and failure are his own, we just try to do what we can.

This year is really not easy. He took a lot of AP classes and prepared for the exam. During the period, he still did not give up practicing the piano. He also worked as a volunteer every weekend ... We are very distressed to him, and often persuade him to give up, lower goals, reduce AP courses ... He said that parents and parents are forcing their children to work hard, to work hard, to go to a famous school, how can you be so behind! We are waiting for him to give up, do not work so hard, and return to his easy-to-use music. I didn't expect him to persevere, his school grades remained all A, and the AP class also passed with high scores. He is changing our view of him time and time again.

For a long time, we thought he was a big baby who couldn't grow up. He couldn't live without us. I went to Shangzhou Music Summer Camp that year and cried for two weeks for three weeks. I called countless times every day and said I missed us. , No father ca n’t practice the piano and ca n’t sleep at night ... It ’s really distressing and worrying, what can this little child do in the future!

So we have always asked him to apply for the University of New York, so leave home closer. Unexpectedly, people say that they don't want New York universities, it is better to stay away from home! We thought that this kid was headless and ignored him. I just continue to talk about how good New York ’s universities are. I can live outside without going home. As a result, the child actually did not report to New York universities ... University notices came one after another, all of them are out-of-state universities. . However, the last thing to think about is that we have always regarded him as a child. In fact, he is growing up every day and thinking independently. The education he received and the social impact are all positive. We should let go. The world is so big, let him go and see. Such self-promoting children are also our blessings. I'm really happy for him, hard work is not in vain.

The little cutie in the photo is just 3 months old.
